Add a minimal install option, a default (with tutorial) and then social where home is added.

The Oculus launcher should be get down to 1 GB installer, updates to be around 500-900 MB etc.

I want to decide what to install in first time, so I can keep things low space needed.

Now that hand tracking is official feature for Quest, are we going to get it added to Rift S as well? As that is a sign it is mature technology for casual users, so why not support the tech nerds and industry developers first, if not at least secondly?

Flight simulators needs this, like go to play DCS or even VTOL VR. And you will rush the feature to those developers!

I want to get away from colliding Rift S controllers, as every shooter game requires to place rear controller on HMD or at least near it, so just allow grabbing air and pulling trigger. Look at the Gun club VR or hot dogs and grenades.

    Totally agree.

The Rift S should be the priority, as it is the high end product by the performance you can get, and so on the leader what you can make next gen graphics and other performance.

I do totally get that Quest huge benefit to be completely out of Rift S reach when it comes to easy to use, as you just start using it.

I do love the whole idea of Quest how you can just now add a fiber optic cable to it to get the PC run the game or software, but it can't mean it just abandon the Rift S for that.

If there is any technical changes to get it to the Rift S, it should be done. After all looking how QUest got the camera correction tech from Rift S too, so it should go both ways.

And this would be a major finisher for the deal for benefit of Rift S compared to other high end products from other manufacturers when you can just use your HMD cameras to do tracking, instead the extension port or other attachments etc.
