But I would like Oculus to build a longer cable that has a built in 360 swivel. The swivel would prevent cable twisting/tangling, since that is the biggest and only problem I have found with the wires. If you dont keep track of your direction, you will eventually tangle your wires and could cause them to break eventually. But if they built a cable that had a 360 swivel, then it would be able to rotate with the user and never tangle.

search youtube for building an Oculus breakout cable. I found one video super informative and he lists exactly which cables work best and which repeaters work best. He also details which cables and repeaters do not work at all. So you should be fine if you get the stuff he has.

or disable dash is fine too. Just that simple classic menu that came up when you pressed the menu button. It was a simple white grid background, both touch controllers at the top had battery status levels always showing, notifications on the left, a button to switch back to your app/game, and a way to exit or change to a different game. Simple, super fast loading, doesnt crash weaker computers, intuitive controls and works great.

I 100% fully agree. We need a way to switch back to the classic dashboard. Just a nice, simple layout to pick a game and play. No need for a whole social media apartment. Just need to open it up quickly and launch a game.

At the moment, I cant figure out a way to go back to the classic dashboard. I am here to game and I prefer a clean, simple and easy to use game launcher. I don't need to build a social media apartment for people to join. I have enough of those inside each game I play.
So please give us a simple button to swap between the new dash and the classic dash. Do not bury this button in some option menu.. Just make it easily available. What you can put in the menu options is a way to set the default dash to be classic mode or new dash.

I realize some people do like the new dashboard, so all I am asking for is a way to go back to the classic one.

Also, with the new dashboard, if I am playing a game, I cant instantly see my touch controller battery levels like I used to be able to do in the classic dash menu. So for those fans of the new dash, please give them an easily viewable battery status level for both touch controllers while you are in a game and press the oculus menu button.

For people who want to use the new dashboard, please work with the developers of RecRoom for how to create VR walk controls that do not make you have VR sickness. Currently the walk controls that you have in the new Oculus dashboard are VR sickness heavy and makes it just a terrible experience.
