I don't understand why neither Oculus nor Valve are implementing some living objects or creatures withing their Homes. Valve has the robot dog inside "The Lab", why don't make it available in their version of Home? The fairy tree inside Oculus Home is nice, as is the jellyfish aquarium, but they are rather static.
I want to see something alive, that maybe even evolves over time.

A portal set inside home would be great too. The portal don't has to be a literal elliptical wobbly rift in a wall, but could be some item. It would become really great, if we could look into living scene of the application/game through the portal. Or watch something happening inside an intricate object.

Imagine a chess board, where you would have to make a certain move, which triggers a reshaping of Home into the game world.
Or you pick up a bow and a flying monster spawns at the open side of your Home, once you shoot it, Home breaks apart under which the game world appears.
Pick up a shotgun and an elevator is morphing from the wall. Once the doors open an enemy from SuperHot enters your Home.

That would be the next level of immersion to me.

I also miss items with more life to them very much. Something alive, I am allowed to watch and observe. The fairy in here 'open tree aquarium' goes the right way, but is too static yet. Something that evolves over time and has a life on it's own, is what I am imagining. I know that this is very vague but there are so many ingenious artists at Oculus, probably they can find something great.

Interaction between these objects or creatures would be breathtaking.
