Oh **** yeah! 30000x this. Oculus Avatars will never do it for me. Being able to use a fully custom avatar is a must.

Hey all – we’re marking this idea as started, as joystick locomotion was implemented in a previous software update. However, from the comments, it is clear that this idea has morphed a bit to include the specific request of strafing being included in the control scheme. I’ve updated the idea title to include the request for strafing controls. Thanks!

In addition to this, please give developers the same Oculus SDK tools on Linux as you do on Windows and Mac. Oculus Spatializer/LipSync right now only doesn't work on Linux, and I know a number of games that haven't been ported to Linux for that exact reason.
