Purchased mine about a week ago, and was avoiding even booting up Oculus PC software. Had I not, it appears I would have been eligible. How is being less savvy or less thorough in testing supposed to be cause for award in consumers? If this was 3-6 months post launch, or even a black Friday special that only was activated if you bought the game through Oculus store and was added to the cart, I could understand. My issue is it appears to be entirely based on when you sign into the PC platform with a newly connected Quest 2, which is very discretionary between users. Someone thoroughly testing the unit gets shafted, while someone who put it under the Christmas tree and left it to rot gets the game regardless of being bought on the same day. I could be misunderstanding the policy, but based on my understanding it is poorly thought out.
