Honestly, this is the worst part of the Oculus system. Why would I possibly want to use a social media platform i actively avoid JUST so i could play games? really dumb decision.

it makes me feel unsafe and uncomfortable linking my gaming account to my personal social media account. i have no way of knowing, with 100% certainty, that there is no way for someone who i add as a friend on oculus has no ability to determine what my facebook is.
if they find my facebook, they'll know everything about me.. my name, my face, my location, who my friends are..
from an operational security perspective, this is terrifying... why would i want to risk exposing myself to random people on the internet that i play games with?
girls already have to deal with some messed up stuff in the gaming community, and now we have to worry about being found because of oculus?
come guys, if you're not going remove the requirement, at least accept the fact that people are going to be using fake facebook names and allow it.. it's really the only way to guarantee the safety of your community.
