This is a bad corporate decision, who will buy game on facebook knowing a ban can lead to hundred of $$$$$ of games lost and a brick vr headset... It already difficult to understand why people would buy game on a exclusive platform knowing if they change headset they loose the games! Personally i just buy my game on steamvr. If i change company headset i still be able to play my games. Let just say it is not the best time to be associate to facebook... banning people for using fake account to use there vr headset is ridiculous knowing all the political fake account on facebook. The only thing i think it promote is piracy! In a format war in witch we decide the next vr standard, conviviality will win over lock down consumer. Well, company boss are master of their own failure, the rift and quest vr headset are really good as a product, sad that it's corporate greed that dictate the development of oculus now. Who would by a tv that you have to connect to facebook to open, it make no sense... facebook should be just an app that all. Vr is bigger than one social media... Personally i hate facebook... And i don't see a point to link my facebook account to a vr headset. Now that i think of it why should a have an account for a headset from the start. Oculus should make vr headset, facebook should make social app, and steam sale games. When one company take to much space it's to the detriment of the consumer. Price on oculus market are high!!!! If oculus market where reasonable in his price and was a open market for all vr headset I would have buy my game there. But it' not... A rift s is not a console, it is just a screen and i think that linking a facebook account it's a lot to ask for using a screen as fancy it may be. Anyway What i'm really angry at is the fact that because i have decided to stick with my oculus account i will be ban from new update on my headset that i have paid for. I Think that's the scandal. "You don't want to sign no update for you!" I think that's illegal in Canada under the consumer law. Well will they listen to their consumer knowing the history of facebook I HAVE BIG DOUBT! I suppose the next step is banning steam vr from oculus, greed, greed, greed!!!!!
