I haven't transferred my pictures and videos to my Quest 2 yet (I'm having a hardware issue - the left controller does not appear in VR, but it is connected and shows 100% battery), but I did just go looking for the Gallery app, and to hear that it is not on the Quest 2, and that the TV app is not as user friendly, is another reason why I regret buying the Quest 2. (see: aforementioned controller issue, also tinny sound from speakers, black level way higher because no OLED). I'm going to start leaving some VERY bad reviews.
