Notification when Refunds get blocked
At the moment one gets caught by surprise when one has made too many refunds in a short period of time. There's (as far as I have seen) no info about how many games can be refunded in which period of time before one gets blocked.
Also there's no information about how long the blocking will be active.
If possible, could you please make the system send a notification mail after the last granted refund with information about:
- That you have been blocked for a specific time
- A reminder about how many games can be refunded in a specific period of time
- Duration of the blocking until you can get refunds again.
If it isn't written, it shall not be. If you say it and it's not written, it means nothing to me. 5 refunds in a 30 day period is not written in policy, therefore not legally enforceable.
If 5 refunds in a 30 day period is legally binding, so what if I buy 10 games and want to refund 8, I shall be denied and I shall be a berk for attempting to breach policy.
At least it's clear.
At least the stupidity starts and ends with me and my feeble attempt.
Using the word "may" isn't defined and legally not enforceable as there are not specific grounds to justify a denial.
You cannot deny a refund because you felt it in your gut that I am possibly an abuser of refunds, there is no legal variables to compare my actions.
If I purchase, refund, then purchase again, the system should block the future refund request automatically because it breaches policy which IS actually policy, but currently it doesn't as I have found out.
I don't agree with much of current policy or staff mentioning conditions which are not part of public policy.
It can't stand in a claim 😁
If oculus deny reject my idea, they then cannot deny a refund based on their opinion, it has to be based on legal fact.
If I filed a claim with PayPal, I can't see PayPal accepting the idea that oculus had a gut feeling I was an abuser of a refund policy which contains no substance for identifying abuse in policy.
I've been able to refund 2 games that were previously purchased and refunded and the system didn't stop me.
I regrettably requested espire 1 to be refunded yesterday 15th june despite previously purchasing and refunding it. The system allowed the request.
I've been told to wait for a systematic decision as to whether the system approves refund or not. Despite policy on previously refunded games.
I don't currently agree with how the policy is presented. It's flawed.
Oculus, please fix it.
