Prices according to countries..
Hi dear Oculus team ,
I live in Turkey...I am so happy to have oculus quest...
My concern is,
The prices of games are really high when we convert it Dollars to Turkish lira...I believe that you should arrange prices according to countries economic situation... We are equal, but not living in same conditions..
(For your information please check other companies prices : Apple games - Steam games - Google play etc.. These carriers prices were adjusted according to the situation in Turkey. )
I hope, I expressed myself well.
Hi. I want to buy games for the Oculus Quest. But $ 1 = 6.77 TRY in Turkey. Pricing in dollars is very expensive. In the Steam store, a lower exchange rate being applied to Turkey. In this way, we can buy games. Yes, not many players in Turkey. But I still want you to help us. I would ask you to give specific sales price to country. I am also a VR developer. If you do not help, it is very difficult for us to achieve something at these prices. Please hear our voice. Thanks, best regards.
The Headsets are expensive too. 850€ for an Oculus Quest in Turkey, this is usury.

Games are up to 4 times expensive for me unfortunately.
Canada seems to be the cheapest region on Oculus Store and poor country regions USD price is shown which is more expensive

Make Oculus store games more affordable for players from outside $ currency by creating Region-based prices. People from many countries can afford buying games more often when price is displayed and properly converted to their regional currency. The problem is $30 is too much for players of many countries to play only one top tier VR game. Those countries with weak in-house currency I'm talking about. But it's not people's fault.
This $30 price pushes players to find workarounds to lower the price of a game like sharing accounts or even stealing commercial products (piracy). Regional prices could make this problem less painful. Epic Games Store and Steam is a good example of soft selling policy in many regions. As a player living in "not so paying country" I can tell that soft pricing policy is good at boosting sales and decreasing piracy problem in developing economies countries.
I suggest Oculus and Facebook consider regional prices as a feature for the Oculus Store outside USA/Canada/Europe. I know about probability of losing revenue if it's implemented, but still it's a big question, cause if sales will be boosted, it might be even more of a revenue for Oculus from these regions. I lack analytics data about that.
If you take game which is on steam and on oculus store the price difference could be huge!
