v10 boot sound is too loud.
The new sound added in v10 upon initially turning on the Quest is much too loud in comparison to the lovely melody that plays when the OS begins to load.
If I have the headset on when powered off, the sound is loud enough to hurt my ears.
Please change this to a tone that resembles the OS loading melody or lessen it's volume by half or more.
Thank you.

What's the big deal though. Just never turn off the device and all is good.

Yes remove or disable this useless sound that gets late night users in trouble with family members!

On the Go, they got rid of the boot sound altogether. They need to do same with Quest so I don’t wake the whole house when I turn on my goggles

Please remove this mandatory noise. This will damage hearing otherwise. I have had my headphones on at fill blast a the noise literally tears through them and still plays externally. Not just through headphones.

Honestly I don't know why the heck they added the sound, previous sound was just fine.

Sometimes I play at night and in an otherwise silent house, the start up sound is obnoxiously loud. I can tell my Quest is on because it's on...so shhh!

IF you have the earbuds in this is actually painful to those with good hearing - a very bad thing.

Please allow user to elect to turn off the startup animation audio or at least allow the user to change the volume during the animation.
Even with headphones connected the sound plays through the speakers, which wakes my wife up every time I turn it on while she is sleeping when I want to watch Netflix. Not only that but it is bothersome to my own ears. I cringe every time I turn on the headset, in preparation for the ear blast (and the lashing from my wife).
What is the functional purpose of this speaker max volume noise that is not avoidable in any way? I'm sure there must be a reason for such an obnoxious noise to be mandatory, but I struggle to find that reason...
