5Ghz Wifi lock Toggle
5GHZ WiFi Lock toggle - For Cast or any other streaming activities in a Mesh network like Google Wifi is a necessity.

FIX THIS PLEASE. Android itself has this toggle, you just have to expose it in the settings.
Please add this. Google wifi and many other popular routers do not let you separate bands. I just have to keep resetting over and over again or hope the signal switches over randomly.
Device is pretty much unusable at this point. I cannot even browse the oculus store to find something to spend money on. I won't limit my bands to 5Ghz because I need 2.4 for my smart home electronics. So I either abandon my quest or a few hundred dollars worth of lights and such.

Once set this 5Ghz lock should not seek a better strength wifi connection. It should just simply remain connected to the initial 5Ghz connection until put to sleep. Every wake up it should seek the strongest 5Ghz connection and stay locked on the initial connection until it sleeps again.

For the love of users with mesh networks FIX THIS. Mesh network users cannot disable a band like support keeps suggesting.
Please Fix this
For the love of god, please fix this. The Quest is the only device I have that gives me problem on my Netgear Orbi mesh network. It's clearly something Oculus needs to fix.
That Wifi lock toggle would solve the problem with the reconnects at my meshed Wifi network. Please include this!!!

Dear Oculus Team,
please check this crowded forum thread - there are many many people having serious problems using their Oculus Quest:

I feel this is a big oversight from the Oculus team as it will impact aware users but also users who will eventually believe their hardware to be broken or low quality. This is the only product in my technology-filled house that is unable to function with my mesh network. To add t0 this - it is also just a problem when staying in the same part of my house as the wifi disconnects.
