Multiple profiles on one account to allow 'local' multiplay without forcing us to buy multiple copies of a game - also parental controls !
First of all - absolutely cracking product! I have NEVER bought a gaming platform in the first month of its release until the quest - and I was blown away - whoever described it as the Nintendo of vr was spot on !!!!
I have 2 quests and was going to buy another 2 but in order to play with (or against) other players on my other quests I find that I am forced to register each quest on a different account which means I have to buy every game separately for each quest !!!
Can we have multiple profiles for different users on the same account to allow ‘local’ multiplay - it would also be an ideal opportunity to bring parental controls to the quest which are sadly non-existent (I really don’t want my 9 year old to be able to play Drop Dead : Dual Strike !) - To be honest I was really surprised that parental controls weren’t in place at launch - it’s pretty much an essential feature nowadays (note: I’m not on about content or web filtering, simply not allowing selected apps without a pin would have been enough to start with).
For now I’m holding off buying any more quests until I can use multiple player profiles - It’s just too expensive to be forced into buying 4 copies of the same game just to play with local players 😮
I share the exact same sentiment. Running a VR program with juvenile detention youth and these two points are issues that I face.
