Family Sharing
Several other platforms like Steam, PlayStation, etc. offer family sharing for multiple users in the same household. The same game can’t be played at the same time across multiple accounts or devices, but can be shared within a household in the same way that physical media works.

I bought 3 headsets have bought multiple copies of games and your dumb headset won't let my 3 devices play 3 copies of township tale at once together. Your idiots

YES! I would buy 2 more and it would transform the experience to acutally encourage the purchase!

I was thinking of buying a few for my daughters and me. But now that I ran into this I’ll be giving a pass. Maybe after Facebook decides to act like the other main consoles I’ll reconsider. I won’t be investing into this MetaVerse until then.

Bother got one, LOVED IT thinking of getting one two but the idea of having to buy the games twice for each one is holding me back to buying my own

We are buying our third quest 2 for the family and this is quickly turning into a nightmare.

I have the same issue for now I had to add the main account and share apps. The 2,and account has no games though which sucks because my kids can't play together as separate users. I feel that I should be able to have the purchased games in both my sons accounts especially since I purchased the games isn't it supposed to be owned? This is total bs!

Completely agree with everyone else. Basically, I have to pay $60 for everyone to be able to play a game? This is COMPLETE bs. Literally the worst purchase I've made in 17 years as a mother.

My sons just purchased a Quest2 headset each with their Christmas and birthday savings - I thought they'd be able to share games across multiple devices so they could play the same game at the same time, as well as play certain games as a team as they currently do with our old playstation. Now it seems they'll have to take turns if they want to play the same game - I refuse to allow them to buy two copies of the one game, we can't afford that. Disappointing unless sharing of games across multiple devices in a household is brought in soon.

This needs to be a priority for Facebook. So many other platforms and services offer this.

I agree with the existing feedback.
Our second Oculus quest just arrived and I quickly 'googled' how to enable family sharing and arrived here disappointed. I now have my quest, and the kids have one. Which one would you assume will be the demo when friends and family visit?
Plot twist- the answer is mine. The games that appeal to first time VR users are not games I want to buy twice.
How many first time purchases are made within a few minutes of trying VR for the first time? I know of 4, including myself. Make it easy on us to sell VR to our friends.
If someone is looking for settings you are behind.
I guess the silver lining is game devs will see a slightly higher profit.

I have 2 headsets in my household so Ditto to what this user said:
The games that you purchase for your "main" quest 2 unit of your household should be in a library- then if you have more than one device in that household those units should be able to play games from the households library. Every member of a family or friends that come over should NOT ever have to buy the games again to play. It is rediculous. Family sharing is a must! Come on facebook, I’d refund if I could - very ****** -

Now that our household has a second Quest 2 family sharing would be a welcome feature. Steam, Apple, Google all have a family library to allow one purchase of software to be used on multiple family devices. Please do this! It might make a third or fourth Quest 2 an option.

Google play has a family library and do should Oculus. Definitely shouldn't have to buy multiple copies of the games.

Oculus should be living in the present and future, not the past Please. Het you’re act toghether Facebook, stop worrying about those few pennies you will leave on the table, you’ve already got the userdata that you monatize to oblivian. Get real and make it the way it should be, make sharing Across multiple devices possible, even of it up to a Max amount of devices. Really dissapointed with that attitude

Biggest suggestion open it up to share apps across devices. Not on the same device I don't like sharing sweat

I would also strongly advocate for this. It’s the only thing stopping my household from purchasing a second unit.

Want to play with strangers? Sure, no problem. Want to play a game you’ve already purchased within your own household? Well, you are going to have to buy it again for each headset, and don’t forget that not so trendy Facebook mandatory login.
Two members of my household have headsets, but we’ve held off on buying any multiplayer apps due to this ridiculous setup. If I wanted to play with random strangers, I’d go to the park or play an MMO on pc- one with decent customer support and block/ignore/offline features.

We have 2 Go(s) in our household and have to buy again Wander if we want to "see" each other during same session. That's insane, same house, husband and wife and have to buy all apps twice!! Even if this is decided by apps developers, FB should say "NO".

Games should be shareable just like in the App Store where a family can share apps in the iTunes Store on different devices in the same family. Same principal. It would help tremendously in these times where families are looking for things to do together during the pandemic.
Please consider it Oculus!
