Have user profiles so families can share a Quest and we can demo it to guests. Most games don't have save slots so if you had user profiles in Home we could have multiple saves.

We need this

This is a crucial feature, that should have been included from day one. There's no need to connect the quest to multiple accounts if you facilitate multiple profiles under one account, like netflix does. Have one profile be an admin profile , that can control what privileges the other profiles have access to. Then allow people to log into each profile with a four digit pin.

If this existed, it could provide you with additional points of touch for marketing - so do it for YOUR OWN BENEFIT, if not only for your customers. (Not gonna repeat why it's really an essential feature on a tech device...)
(What I mean is that more people would register Oculus user accounts with their email or Fb account, and by looking at the device ID you could easily understand that they were just a "guest user" and not yet an owner, so you could target them specifically with ads to get their own. You know, the thing that Facebook is good at.)

How is this not a thing? Do you really expect each person in a family to buy their own personal Oculus?

Yes I need this for my family!
This is a super basic feature that I'm really disappointed isn't available
This an essential part of any computer. I was shocked to find out that this was not a base feature. Moving forward please ensure this basic option is available, as it's a core element on a multitude of platforms and operating systems...its what defines us.
Please. This is a basic component of a gaming console. Sharing with friends and family without losing your progress. PLEASE OCULUS. It's not that hard. It should have been added already.
I would LOVE this to be added.
I visit my family a lot and the last time I visited them I brought over my brand new Oculus Quest. We played Beat Saber for hours and a few other games. The problem was that we didn't have a way to have each person to save their own high score. Plus my nephew wanted to start a campaign of his own in Beat Saber and he couldn't because only my account was on the Quest.
Did you get lost while exploring?
“At launch, Quest can be connected with one Oculus account,” reads a statement from Facebook. “That said, we know Quest is the kind of headset people will want to share, so we’re exploring multi-account support for the future.”
This is a very critical feature, clearly with the most votes. Oculus team, if this does not become a core feature, you will lose consumers by another competitor and some of us savvy enough will eventually look to our own means to opensource the technology.
The lack of multiple profiles has basically forced us to buy all content for the same account - which happens to be my son's. And now that a Facebook account is required for multiplayer we all have to use his account? Seriously Oculus?
VR for my husband has been taken over by my two kids. I’m not buying a second VR until both of my kids can play the same game together. I’m not buying the same game twice.
Yes we need this! I don't understand why this isn't set up yet, this is so basic. I want my own environment, so does my wife and kid. Now we cannot have our own progress in games, and I like being in a space center while my wife likes a living room setup. Every console has got profiles, why does the Oculus have not?

Super ****** this doesn't have multiple profile options. I figured that was just a standard thing built into ANY good gaming platform. Ugh.
This is such a basic feature that should have been implemented at launch... I won’t recommend an oculus headset to anyone now. You basically can’t share your device to your family members. Ridiculous. I recommend people start rating 1 star where they bought their device until this is implemented.
Another voice, I want to track progress in Beat Saber with my girlfriend! Add multiple users feature, and it is not for dev team, they probably made it already at the very beginning, whoever is counting money, Hey man, give us multiusers!

Very disappointing that this does not have profiles. I'm trying to get my wife to play more Beat Saber, but I'm afraid she'll get frustrated because my son blows through the campaigns and she tries to catch up. I'm also concerned she'll look at the high scores and quit because she can't even make it onto the list (giving up before she gets enough practice to be good). It makes playing other adventure games impossible among family members. This makes me not want to buy games on the Oculus platform and go to your competitors. If profiles aren't a thing by the time I'm ready to buy my next headset, I'll be going to Valve/Steam.
How is this not a priority?
Bought a quest half and half with my dad, and we were super excited when it arrived, trying all the new games. It wasn't until a day or so later that we realised we were both having to share my profile. And my saves. And my settings. Meaning neither of us could just go about playing our own games. And considering most of the games on it don't have multiple save slots, this is a MAJOR problem. Really disappointed right now, and hoping something's done about this soon. Which is perhaps unlikely, considering this has been a daily requested feature since last year. Some family platform this is :(

I would really like this too! I bought the quest but am currently too low on funds to buy games, and my brothers own some games I want to play but don't want me using their headset (general distrust and I wear glasses). One would have been willing to gift me games but they don't support that either.
So the only way to play full games is to factory reset my headset and let my brother link his account to my headset. It's dumb that this is even necessary. Either add multiple user support, family sharing, or gifting. But to be a good store, add all 3!
How can you improve?....... Start by listening! Then respond! If you are listening, let us know! Look at the most popular request! Multiple user profiles! Is this something you are working on? If so, let us know! If its not going to be an option in future updates, tell us so we can move on by changing our VR platforms.
I will not continue supporting Oculus by pouring my money into a company that wont listen or respond. Please fix this
