Have user profiles so families can share a Quest and we can demo it to guests. Most games don't have save slots so if you had user profiles in Home we could have multiple saves.

Me and my sister wanted the quest so we could both use it, we want to split the price, we already plan on getting another down the road so we can do multiplayer games but for the time that we (and most others have 1) this is the most important feature you could add now and it would make alot more people wanna buy it
Really, no user profiles, come on, get this implemented!

What? You mean I've been doing it wrong? I've been buying each person a PC, and TV, and laptop, and tablet, and car thinking that only one person can ever use them!
Are you saying that multiple people can use these things?

I love the unit. Great! I am also missing multiple users so I can share with the kids. Not my games get messed up by the little *******
Yeah, this is definitely a deal breaker for me. I bought the quest to share with friends and family when I'm on the go. And this absolutely ruins sharing the device. Having save slots in game might help in some cases, but a full guest/user profile switching system is need. Look at PS, Xbox, and Steam as an example.
This is a basic feature that severely diminishes the user interaction with the device.

My son set it up, then went on vacation. The Quest is a brick...

Family of 6 here sharing Vive easily, and expected the same from Quest.
This really needs to be implemented
Definitely a huge downfall to not allow multiple users. It's not an inexpensive system, and to purchase two is unreasonable. You'd get a lot more sales out of families wanting one system the family can use rather than pigeonholing users into getting one for each person.

Yes just got one today and there's me and my 2 kids and it's hard us all using my log in

This really needs to be implemented urgently. I show the device around a lot, but this is a show stopper for many interested people.

This would make easier for families to get this device. Now we have to make difficult systems to keep track of our progress or wait until one has completed the game. There is no way adding this feature would diminish sales, since people taking turns will still have one Quest and if family want to play together they will buy multiple.

we just got a quest at work. so i found this thread. I hope to have an official work account (for app purchases with work credit card, and giving demos at events) separate from my personal account (so i can access the games I've personally purchased).

This really needs to be a priority.
We are new to VR, and I would never have believed that this is NOT a standard feature.
How can you warrant that someone pay AU$800 for a state of the art electronic game machine, and that only one person can play it.
Do you really expect a family to buy an AU$800 item, and set up separate accounts and game purchases for each individual in the family?
If this is not rectified soon, it will be returned, as "Not Fit For Purpose'.
Come on Oculus/FaceBook, get your act together.
What is the rational behind this??? Why not allow families to share this??????
What are you trying to achieve?
This is nessisary. My and my spouse share alot of devices, but we cannot have two quests or two dedicated play areas. We would rather have multiple accounts so we could buy things seperatly bit share the device (like XBOne, PS4, Switch)
Please add this feature! It is something that every console has at this point and much needed!

Absolutely! I most likely will not be buying a Quest without this functionality. I want to be able to have a guest account to demo to friends and for local multiplayer with my Rift (I am willing to re-buy games I own if necessary).

Please allow us to create multiple profiles on the same account so I can share the headset with family and guests. Also please allow us to switch accounts on the headset without a factory reset. Thank you!
