Have user profiles so families can share a Quest and we can demo it to guests. Most games don't have save slots so if you had user profiles in Home we could have multiple saves.
This should be a standard feature if you want to be the leading home VR device for consumers and developers. By not including this feature:
- You can't have multiple saves for game progression. Not only for others in the household, but individuals who are playing multiple storylines.
- Can't have parental control accounts.
- Make it hard to share experience with guests or demo to others.
- Limits developers on ability to test/demo and work on saves/builds.
Very disappointed and reconsidering purchasing my own.

I bought this for my family to use. I have 7 people in my family. If this is how it is going to be I honestly wish I had kept my PS VR.
Honestly I am insulted I have to come to this page and request this. You can't honestly expect families to fork over $400 for each person in the house? Come one man!!! This needs to be added yesterday!! Are you done yet?

And add family game sharing just like xbox and Playstation have, so if I buy a game all linked accounts (my kids) can play it on their own headset vs me having to buy it for each headset!

I like this idea and would like to throw in the ability to prevent some profiles from accessing age innappropriate content, so kids using the Quest don't get exposed to bad language and behaviour in Rec Room for example.
This is an absolute *must* common guys!

Yes please a multi user account is needed, it's not like we don't have the space for it.

I totally agree. I bought the Quest for my daughter and me and now we can't share story-based games like Journey of the Gods because there is only one saving slot. Multiple accounts would solve this.
I agree. A multiple user option is necessary!

Voicing my support/desire for this feature. I want to buy Quest to share between myself and my wife, and we could really use the ability to have two accounts, each with separate stats/progress tracking.
Really need log on/off for multiple user accounts. We are considering purchasing several Quests to use in my VR class to supplement the Vives, but the lack of this otherwise-common feature puts that into question.
This is an absolute necessity.

Got my Quest today, but I’m returning it because of this issue. I’m 100% sure I’ll be back once it’s solved.

Yes, please update to support multiple users/profiles. I just want my friends online to be able to tell if it is me or my husband who is using the headset. My husband should be able to set his own avatars and account name instead of using my female gendered ones. Buying this headset was something we bought for ourselves as a reward after really hard work, and I'm really disappointed we can't each have our own save progress and avatars and preferences saved. We can't afford a second one. Please, please add support for multiple users.

Was demoing mine to the family recently and one device with many users would be an easy, easy sale. One each is much harder!

My husband just bought an Oculus Quest for us to both use to play Beat Saber, which we currently play on our PSVR. We were so excited at the thought of being able to play it without all the attached cables, etc. Then he got it home and we realized that we can't even have our own accounts. We're so disappointed. This turned an exciting purchase into a crushing blow. I'm astonished that a machine marketed to families and for people to share with friends is limited to a single user. We're just crushed.
Coming from PSVR, I was disappointed as I realized that my new Quest is only a single User device. Quest is running a modfied Android, and Android can deal with multiple users. I would appreciate multiple users on the Quest very much, sharing my Quest with my daughter.

Me and my sister wanted the quest so we could both use it, we want to split the price, we already plan on getting another down the road so we can do multiplayer games but for the time that we (and most others have 1) this is the most important feature you could add now and it would make alot more people wanna buy it
Really, no user profiles, come on, get this implemented!

What? You mean I've been doing it wrong? I've been buying each person a PC, and TV, and laptop, and tablet, and car thinking that only one person can ever use them!
Are you saying that multiple people can use these things?
