Have user profiles so families can share a Quest and we can demo it to guests. Most games don't have save slots so if you had user profiles in Home we could have multiple saves.
I just bought this thing yesterday as a fun anniversary gift for my wife and I. It's amazing, but I went to create a profile for my wife and I'm dumbfounded that this isn't possible. WTH
Please sort this out. I've still got 29 days to return this and I really don't want to. And I really don't want to leave a poor Amazon review just because of this one disappointing fact.

I am not buying apps until this issue sorted out
Just purchased an oculus quest and found out it can’t be used by multiple users with separate profiles.
Very disappointing because I purchased it for the whole family.
Love the device but until this is fixed I won’t spend any money on apps.

I was planning to buy two of these for my family, then learned about this issue. Until it gets addressed I'm not going to purchase Oculus Quest, simple as that.

I bought Quest for my company. Idea is/was to test this for educational purposes and replace some skype meetings in vr. Luckily your eshop let me order only one piece. Would've ordered 3. Found out about this one user per device limit the hard way. Companies won't do anything with quest if you need a factory reset to change a user.

I am starting to get real concerned this is not going to be taken seriously and I feel like I may have wasted my money on purchasing this. I bought this for my family a couple weeks ago and now they are not playing it because they can't have their own profile.
I am holding off on anymore App purchases until this is resolved. if not resolved before the Holiday's I am going to sell it and give the Vive a try.

This is basic functionality. Why is this not already implemented?
Wow. I can't believe I bought this today and then found this thread. I am totally stunned. How ridiculous.

I need this feature as I have been bought one for work but really need multiple users to be able to trial games with new clients.

Adding to the group. If you care to compete, profiles ar needed and nail casting like your company depends on it.
Ditto on the need for multiple profiles. That is ridiculous that this thing only supports a single profile.
This should be a standard feature if you want to be the leading home VR device for consumers and developers. By not including this feature:
- You can't have multiple saves for game progression. Not only for others in the household, but individuals who are playing multiple storylines.
- Can't have parental control accounts.
- Make it hard to share experience with guests or demo to others.
- Limits developers on ability to test/demo and work on saves/builds.
Very disappointed and reconsidering purchasing my own.

I bought this for my family to use. I have 7 people in my family. If this is how it is going to be I honestly wish I had kept my PS VR.
Honestly I am insulted I have to come to this page and request this. You can't honestly expect families to fork over $400 for each person in the house? Come one man!!! This needs to be added yesterday!! Are you done yet?

And add family game sharing just like xbox and Playstation have, so if I buy a game all linked accounts (my kids) can play it on their own headset vs me having to buy it for each headset!

I like this idea and would like to throw in the ability to prevent some profiles from accessing age innappropriate content, so kids using the Quest don't get exposed to bad language and behaviour in Rec Room for example.
This is an absolute *must* common guys!

Yes please a multi user account is needed, it's not like we don't have the space for it.

I totally agree. I bought the Quest for my daughter and me and now we can't share story-based games like Journey of the Gods because there is only one saving slot. Multiple accounts would solve this.
I agree. A multiple user option is necessary!
