Have user profiles so families can share a Quest and we can demo it to guests. Most games don't have save slots so if you had user profiles in Home we could have multiple saves.

It is just plain stupid to allow only one user to use the Quest. It's like someone buying a new car which will only allow one driver to drive it. A GUEST USER must be implemented.
I would LOVE to show my friends how this works, but no one will be interested when they learn they can't use it as a family.
Bad Oculus. Bad.

this is a no brainer...... just money grabbing probably?

Before I drop the cash on sets for the rest of the family I thought maybe we'd, you know, make sure that they wanted to dive into VR... or that the tech had caught up to a point that it was ready for them.
This is BIG missing feature.
Yes, Yes, Yes, please.
Just bought a Quest and love it, but the whole family wants to use it now.
I'm stunned it can only handle a single user, can't get my head around why. I've bought as a present and wanted to get registered and setup before gifting it, now realise the Quest and games are only linked to me. Should have checked but never even considered this would happen, definitely needs changing Oculus.
Just a new user that wants to be able to have husband & wife share the use of an Oculus Quest headset. Strange to learn that it's set up like a single use device. Really? Should be a way to sign in/out easily based on user. Or share games, but save to a profile for the current user. Seems a real money grab attempt by not including this feature.

Hey Oculus, can we get a statement on this one? Or just and acknowledgement that you know this feature request exists?
Waiting on the multiple user platform to purchase.

I bought this, having 4 kids, not knowing it was just a one user platform. It didn't even occur to me that this would even be possible. I just assumed it would have multiple users. EVERYTHING does today.
Please add a multiple users platform!!!

My kid erased my progress on a game I had been playing and I just had to smile and bear it....ahh parenthood....PLEASE make multiple profiles which share games within a family unit like most technology these days have!!
I purchased this so that my wife and I could use it not knowing that it was a one user platform. Are there any plans to allow for multiple user profiles? I do t know if any other gaming system that only allows single player. PLEASE fix this.

Imho missing user profiles is the greatest show stopper of the Quest.
User profiles for this type of device should have been standard from the get go. My 4 kids are having it out now with game progress...frankly it down right sucks and ruins the experience for them as a whole. i never would have bought his thing if I knew it couldn't be shared (in the modern sense of multiple profiles). I mean...really? Really? It;s like buying a game console and only one person can use it. Who does that?
James Shackleford commented
Nintendo Switch, Netflix, Hulu, etc ...any modern service or gaming platform provides this functionality. Please catch up before your users leave you behind.

I logged in on my account but switched to my dad's account and the vader immortal bundle is on my account So please add this
Please do add this feature!

Love it but yeah not having profile creation makes me not want it to share with nobody since I dont want them to mess my progress lol real concern here

The platform is awesome. The gameplay is fun and super entertaining. But the lack of user profiles will likely cause a steady decline in new users and lapsed users over time. I guess we'll see how responsive and proactive the Occulus/Facebook team is with tackling user feedback.

Needed badly. So when others use quest they don't mess with each other's game data, saves, scores, etc.

Glad I discovered this before purchasing. This lacking feature cost a sale. Hopefully can consider it again in the future when this is addressed.
