Provide a better head strap, preferable a halo thing, like the one of the Rift S. The original one hurts my head badly.

I would like to see an option to improve the fit and the audio, such as the HTC DAS, but as an official Oculus add on.
Agree * 1000.
PSVR and more comfortable and most hygienic
Right! Change my PSVR with Quest. Only one regret :comfort and Hygiene . PSVR > Quest
Ouch that's odd. I hated the halo of the Rift S to the point where I returned it and bought the Quest instead.
I LOVE the Quest, and its style of head strap.
Worst idea ever. Halo straps are absolutely horrible. It falls right of your head when moving ever so slightly. Biggest mistake of the rift s.
Please make sure you've adjusted the straps correctly. The bars on the side should be perfect horizontal. Otherwise the back of the headstrap doesn't do anything. Not trying to step on anyone's toes, just clarifying that most (hardcore) vr fans all hate the halo strap. Maybe add it as an aftermarket add on, but don't force this junk on us.

Very front heavy. I'd gladly pay for a halo-style headband upgrade that took the weight off my cheeks. The current headband would probably work better if it was designed to grasp lower on the back of the head, as it is, it simply doesn't lift enough weight off the cheekbones. The second party VRCOVER facepads help, but only extends cheekbone comfort for a short time.

I would love to have an Oculus provided secondary head strap that is MORE COMFORTABLE possibly halo style. I don't want to rip my quest apart and put on the HTC one Oculus help.

The Vive Deluxe Audio Strap with a few strips of velcro and some bicycle helmet padding in the back made my Quest as near perfect as a device this heavy can get.

I too was very disappointed by the discomfort on my cheeks and forehead. I've ordered a VrCover but many I believe would pay you for a more comfortable optional upgrade.
Unless you believe that the offering of an upgrade is in itself an admittance of guilt.

I've had to return my Oculus Quest as found the standard headstrap placed all the weight at the front and was causing skin issues, neck pain and headaches. It's frustrating as otherwise the device is fantastic. A halo style band upgrade would address these issues. Especially if counter-weighted it with a battery pack at the back.

I agree. I have a Rift, and PSVR and pre ordered the quest when it was announced. I was pretty excited to get it, but it just sits in the box. It is the most uncomfortable thing to wear. Also the back of the strap slides up the back of my head. So then the HMD drops and the display is all blurry. I don't feel this was tested very well. I tried the Studioform VR headstrap and it made it worse. So I put it back in the box. Hoping someone makes a better head strap. If nothing comes out within a year I will probably do the Vive Deluxe Audio Strap mod to it. But really wishing I didn't buy it on release and tried it first.

Agreed. The Go was so much more comfortable. Was this tested by people wearing it for extended periods of time? Probably yes. Then why did you go with this design?
Please review the current strap and design a more comfortable version that distributes the weight of the headset more evenly around it.
Yeah, the current head strap is very uncomfortable.
I put a battery on the back to counterweight. Headaches went away completely.

Maybe a 'pro' strap that has some extra festures and enhanced ergonomics, I use the extra top strap method too great success.

I want to go on record with a vote AGAINST this idea, current head strap is great it just needs to able to go deeper on the top strap to compensate for the Quests weight
This is definitely the most important aspect.
The Quest is such an amazing device but just thinking wearing it again made me feel sad.
I want a Halo system like the Rift S or PSVR, Comfort is badly needed.
In fact it's simple : no comfort = cannot play longer = cannot experience more = cannot buy more titles

Halo strap would solve everything. I went back and tried my Lenovo Explorer on that has the halo design and while, yes, it's a lighter headset, the difference in comfort and secureness is night and day.
