Provide a better head strap, preferable a halo thing, like the one of the Rift S. The original one hurts my head badly.

Perhaps a pro/deluxe optional head strap similar to how HTC had the Deluxe audio head strap as a separate upgrade-able purchase. The stock head strap, though cumbersome, keeps the cost of entry down, so i can still see it being a good thing to keep shipping the unit with, but the option to upgrade the head strap to a much more comfortable and balanced one would be fantastic.

Bump. Please... the quest strap sux. It is not a "one size fits all" thing. I have fiddled with it for hours trying to get it to sit right. The strap in the back just doesnt sit low enough for me. And if I loosen it up, I cant get a good fit in the front. After 30 mins the quest is hurting me and I need to take it off. It is really uncomfortable.
The Rift S's Halo Strap is just about perfect. I can wear it for hours with no pain. Honestly, why did you put that particular strap on the quest. Was it for portability? Because your carry case for the quest doesnt require you to fold up the strap. Instead, it's lays out full. If you needed it to collapse in on itself, someone made a rift s halo strap design that swung up / folded up in the middle. But they use printed parts and it's cheap. Buy their design.
To make quest the near perfect go to VR headset, you need a more comfortable head strap (the rift s halo one). You would dominate the competition with that.
Edit: Come to think of it, the Oculus Go's strap is more comfortable than the Quests' strap. However, I realize that the Go is much lighter than the Quest...and you are able to lie down with it on. So, having the option to change out the strap to a Rift S halo style and back depending on what you're doing would be fantastic. I feel the halo strap would be more secure with more active content too.
This needs to be looked at ASAP! a lot of people can't use Quest for a decent amount of time due to it's poor strap design. It's painful to wear. Oculus please redesign the strap for better fit and comfort. It's the biggest negative feedback Quest is getting right now.

It's funny - I posted this exact same idea in Facebook Oculus Quest group today without even thinking there'd be a similar request. I would buy it, if it was forward compatible with Quest 2, and i'd pay $150 AUD for it. Make it happen! Official Quest Accessory.

Please do this
Once again, you should have used a more powerful chip, the 845 or 855! I would gladly have paid the extra cost. As it is, I have flushed my money down the toilet. Immersiveness is not enough when paired with inadequate resolution!
So many people rave about this thing. I don't get it. Then I showed it to a friend of mine, who is a software engineer. He said that he was seeing what looked like 'analog distortion', which is odd in a digital device.

If we're going to use the awesome Quest on PC as well then we absolutely need a premium head strap. The Quest is awesome but you guys really dropped the ball on ergonomics.
Not a fan of the Halo strap though. PSVR hurst me af after a while.

Official Oculus Deluxe Audio strap. Have Vive tweak theirs and put Oculus logo on it.

Something like the FrankenQuest would be awesome! :) But a official Oculus strap without screwing around with velcro and tape.

Yes, would be nice with a better headstrap, but would be even nicer if one was made that made for a better headset, so that it might also have features like on ear headphones and maybe a flip-up visor connector that could somehow be put on top of the Quest headset.

I would just like ways to improve the comfort of Quest, not sure the Halo thing is the right way to go, but I do admit the Rift S is more comfortable to wear Thant the Oculus. It just seems like the existing head strap should have some cushion especially around the back of the head. That's where it hurts me the most.

I would like to see an option to improve the fit and the audio, such as the HTC DAS, but as an official Oculus add on.
Agree * 1000.
PSVR and more comfortable and most hygienic
Right! Change my PSVR with Quest. Only one regret :comfort and Hygiene . PSVR > Quest
Ouch that's odd. I hated the halo of the Rift S to the point where I returned it and bought the Quest instead.
I LOVE the Quest, and its style of head strap.
Worst idea ever. Halo straps are absolutely horrible. It falls right of your head when moving ever so slightly. Biggest mistake of the rift s.
Please make sure you've adjusted the straps correctly. The bars on the side should be perfect horizontal. Otherwise the back of the headstrap doesn't do anything. Not trying to step on anyone's toes, just clarifying that most (hardcore) vr fans all hate the halo strap. Maybe add it as an aftermarket add on, but don't force this junk on us.

Very front heavy. I'd gladly pay for a halo-style headband upgrade that took the weight off my cheeks. The current headband would probably work better if it was designed to grasp lower on the back of the head, as it is, it simply doesn't lift enough weight off the cheekbones. The second party VRCOVER facepads help, but only extends cheekbone comfort for a short time.

I would love to have an Oculus provided secondary head strap that is MORE COMFORTABLE possibly halo style. I don't want to rip my quest apart and put on the HTC one Oculus help.

The Vive Deluxe Audio Strap with a few strips of velcro and some bicycle helmet padding in the back made my Quest as near perfect as a device this heavy can get.
