Oculus Gift Cards
My prefered way to make game purchases is via physical gift cards (scratch cards) that I buy at various stores to add funds to a virtual wallet that most virtual stores offer.
So far I have been able to make use of google play cards, steam gift cards, blizzard gift cards, PlayStation network cards.
Using PayPal or a Credit/Debit Card is inconvenient since if we don't have a credit/debit card or PayPal we can't purchase the games.
Even though you created an Oculus Quest which doesn't require PC or insight Track you can't really expect us to purchase the Oculus Quest or Oculus Rift S without another payment method like a gift card since it Prevents the customers under 18 to buy the game from the store.
And I know other stores that also offer this type of payment
Payment methods should be plentiful and convenient.
The Oculus store is the only one that does not offer a payment method that I can make use of.
So would you kindly add more?
I used a steam card but the code was too short

Its nice to see im not the only one. TBH this is getting to be a pet peeve with me. The whole " you need a credit card to buy a game" Anything for that matter these days.
Im at the point that when A game comes out - if it neglects steam or there is no option to get a card off the shelf that even if it eventually comes to steam I will not buy it or any of there products. I feel stung or thrown under the bus because I don't have a card. I refuse to get a credit card - its a life choice.
Not every one can buy these games or others who choose to make more money by side stepping steam. Steam works for every one - You just need cash at any big store.
I just want to scream at these companies either put out a card on the shelf or get off your greedy high horses and put it on steam for EVERY ONE TO BUY.
Im sick and tired of feeling like a second class citizen because I don't have a credit card.
Enough said - glad to see im not the only one.
I heartily agree. I received a Quest as a gift from a few people. As a caregiver , I don't get a break so the Quest is my one break from daily life. Some folks want to buy me games as gifts since I had to give up working to take care of my ill parents and as a result cannot afford any. If gift cards were a part of Oculus, it would allow people currently without means to enjoy more of what the system has to offer. There are literally five games of 29.99 that I would be gifted right now if the process existed. Please find a way to make it happen. It would mean additional revenue for you and wonderful experiences for us.
A win\win all around!

These comments are far too kind. It shouldn't be this hard to give you money. Do you actually have buildings full of nerds who haven't figured this out? Or is finance worried about how to accrue the revenue? Take the money and count it later. Come on, guys... Get your **** together and take our money. I believe in you.
I agree, cant gift games
My mother wanted to buy me a game for my birthday, went through all the trouble of figuring out gift cards weren’t available and bought me a visa gift card only for that card to error out in the oculus store (works elsewhere). I have family members who are eager to buy me a game so they can play it too! Quests are selling out all over the place, gift cards would fly off the shelf for Christmas given the opportunity.

Yeah, same for me as others here. I'm being ask what I like for Christmas and I can't tell them Oculus gift card.
Gutted there are no OQ gift cards. People have been asking me what I'd like for Christmas, and what I want is the gift of gaming 😉

I mentioned for a Christmas gift that I'd like an Oculus gift card ... then I found this. WTF?! Facebook owns Oculus and has prepaid "gaming" gift cards ... why can't they be used here?

How on earth do you guys not sell gift cards? You are leaving so much money on the table.

yes, #1 solid idea! plus, if someone wants to get gear or games, they could tell families or friends to get oculus gift cards so they can buy the gift they want. Please make this happen.
You need gift cards to expand your offerings. Gift cards or Oculus Cards would go a long way in the acceptance of this new technology. I am boring and wishing I didn’t buy my Quest, because I’m not going to put a credit card in. Therefore no new apps or games. It doesn’t need to be this hard. Very disappointed! The quest cost a lot of money and now I’m regretting it. A response from customer service would be nice!
This may just be number one on my list of improvements needed.
These should definitely be an option. I've been searching around the internet to put these on my Christmas list and they don't exist! This would also be a great gift for people getting their systems for the first time. Even a digital version would be great!

Absolutely no question that these should be an option.
Don't consider these votes to be the majority.
Oculus should have gift cards we users can also give to those we buy an Oculus VR Headset for. I just bought a Go for my Husband's upcoming Birthday as I own one and he borrows mine to play several games/experiences. If an Oculus Store Gift card was available, I could have given him both the device and a gift card to download a couple of games. The idea of a gift card would appeal to many buyers who are gifting the Oculus VR Headsets to family and friends. Just an idea for a possible new stream of Oculus revenue. Hope you will consider doing this in future
