I am a player on Population One from the start and enjoy the game very much. I am a reasonable midrange player.
The thing is that there are more and more outstanding player who will kill me in de blink of an ey. You peek around a corner and a ****** kills you with one shot. In a man to man battle you're wasted in 2 seconds. Now you can see who kills you it becomes clear, they have more than 8000 kills and damage above a million.

This takes the fun out of the game, also for startes who don't get a change to practice. My suggestion is to introduce a factor in the way the damage calculated. There are many options but a good and simple one is to split the players' damage on each other and use that factor to reduce the impact of the hit on shield/life. The better player will proberbly still win but give the lesser player a standing change.

the new update requires you to log into facebook to voice chat / party invite,
this is in my opinion a prejudice requirement for non facebook users.
i set up a facebook account for 20 minutes then deleted it as i felt sick, it was suggesting friends to me that made me feel physically ill.
This requirement is not fair for people who do not wish to use facebook. Or is facebook / oculus becoming a dictatorship? It also took me the 20 minutes to set security for everything after that i was just fed up with it. Whom the **** is facebook to suggest friends to me when it knows nothing about me. why would facebook recommend friends of criminal convictions, drug users, liars and so on, how does facebook scan my phone number or email so these people are even recommended. this is why i dont use facebook and never will. OCULUS i dont care for your adds and dont care for facebook, ill go without vr chat / party... UNFAIR are you also going to disclose to buyers of your product they need facebook to sign in?

The core warns us with the display, but we need the apps to also warn us of a low battery while we are playing.

We need a Verbal warning, or a visual warning in a corner of the screen, that blinks and shows when we hit 15%, 10% and 5%.

Too many times I've been in a Beat Saber Match, or a I've had a GREAT poker hand, only to have the Quest 2 shut down without ANY warning.
If I had this warning, I could connect my 10,000mAh Power Bank or Cable and not be knocked out of games and parties.

PLUS, with NO WARNING, it gets down to ZERO %, and then we have to let it charge back up for a while, even to turn it back on. So, we miss A LOT!!!

Plus, that last 15% goes faSST. With 15% and 10% warning, we can plug it in, or add the power bank and continue on.

One of the main reasons I preordered the Quest 2 was for educational value (experiences like Anne Frank House, National Geographic, Traveling While Black, Home After War, etc.). However, as I begin to look for other educational experiences, it appears that while there have been some produced that there has in general been a lull in new educational games and no major announcements of upcoming ones. There even appears to be more educational experiences for the Oculus Go platform than for the Quest. I’m thinking of cancelling my Quest 2 as it appears educational experiences is not a major development priority (whereas FPS, horror, etc. seem to be more of the focus).

I guess my question for you (to which I can’t find an answer anywhere else) is if there is any push to develop more educational experiences for the Quest platform? Will there be any effort to port educational experiences over to the Quest from the Rift (e.g. 1943 Berlin Blitz, War Remains) or the GO? Should I keep my Quest 2 if my main intent is to enjoy the educational content?

I’d appreciate any guidance, feedback, etc.

For all Apps, make the defaults the most stringent protection for users.

Example: Echo VR should have voice and chat disabled by default.

Allow the Users to enable Voice or chat for Party, Friends or ALL.

This way, kids aren't going in there for the first time to a barrage of the "F", "C" and "N" words, and any other words or phrases we try to teach them are hateful in real life.

It's not only the kids, but also adults spewing the hate. At least with the max protection to start, it would take an effort to hear these things.

I have no issue with having to pay for a copy of the software for EACH Headset. It's doesn't seem right to to me to allow the same software to be shared on multiple headsets. I don't expect freebies. The devs need to make their money for profit and to advance their companies.

Possible transfer of license to a newer or replacement device should be allowed though, removing old permission for that app. i.e. the ability to transfer from a rift to Quest 2, but then disabling on Rift. Or same from One headset to another, if first one dies.

But it doesn't seem right to have ONE copy of the purchased APP on multiple devices, running at all at once. One Headset, ONE App Is fair...

However, I DO fee it's greedy to need One copy of the APP on ONE DEVICE, just so we can have separate scores. We SHOULD have the ability to share ONE app within ONE Device so it can be used by whoever is signed into
that one device/headset.

This is why I tell people to avoid paying for Beat Saber til they fix it. I also post where ever I can about this issue. It reeks of Greed.

Maybe I'm over-reacting. After all, they JUST started allowing multiple users on one Headset after popular demand. Maybe they're ironing out the kinks and what is fair and honest will happen sooner than later.

But, as of now, I can't afford a separate copy of Beat Saber for me and my 3 kids, just so we can have separate scoring. THAT'S feel like CORPORATE GREED!!!

I have no problem buying a copy for each Headset, just not each player on ONE headset.

We need apps to be Multi-User, on ONE device.

I'm waiting, and can't wait to buy it so I can play against my grand kids, Using it as my heart test and practicing so I can take on their mom :)

I have the Oculus Quest 2, so we have to use Oculus TV since Gallery is no longer an option. I click on Your Media, and my images come up, but there is no way to sort them that I can see. I have tried to click and hold, then drag, but that doesn’t work either. I have the files named A through J in my computer folder, and uploaded them one at a time in that order on the Oculus 2. However, in the Oculus Your Stuff, the images in a completely haphazard order. There is no Sort option anymore.

I am want to stream this console for the world to see but I am a masked gamer so I will not broadcast my personal profile. If you guys could add this feature in asap I would live to freely advertise the Oculus Quest 2 but as I can not I am unable to. I enjoy the console but not being able to broadcast is honestly making me want to sell it and no I dont have a computer for the oculus link so your broadcasting options are the only way. If you could PLEASE get this put in the system asap it would be GREATLY appreciated. -DAXenron
