Open letter to Oculus and Facebook:
The Quest 2 came out in October 2020, I bought the 64gb model in February 2021, the 128gb model didn't exist in February so I couldn't choose it, in August 2021 the 64gb model is no longer sold (it costs no less) and it has been in fact replaced with the new 128gb model.
So here it is not a question of having lowered the cost of the 64gb model, but after only 9 months it was completely discontinued, also the NEW 128gb model was introduced at the same price of 64gb,
in fact, even by dropping the value of my viewer possibly used, if I wanted to sell it to take 128 or 256.
I believe this practice is not correct and respectful of your customers who invest in a product that goes out of production in a few months and without eventually activating some sort of bonus for a softer upgrade towards 128gb.
What do you say to Who bought the 64gb model in July and who after just over a month found that it was discontinued and that you sell the 128gb at the same price?
This situation does not make me confident in any future purchases of Oculus products
