Restore purchases of customers for replacement devices
I was told that the Quest 2 is a replacement for the now discontinued Gear VR, which is what I had, and hence I made the purchase. I now find that the apps purchased for the Gear VR cannot be used in the Quest 2 unless they are "cross buy" (From what I was told "cross buy" means that the same app/game game be used on multiple devices. This is still confusing since I am not trying to use the same app in two or more devices simultaneously). What really bothers me is that Gear VR and Quest both use Snapdragon processors (the former being in the Samsung phones), so the underlying technology is the same as well! I feel it is very uncalled for to ask the customers to pay all over again for the same apps that they have been using on a replacement device on the same platform.
