Develop common platform tools for auto-removal of toxic users
Toxicity from users using racist and sexist language is a huge problem for every app on the Oculus platform once the userbase for the app in question grows to a certain size. See for example this post from a long-time Echo VR user who had to quit due to the toxicity of other users: https://www.reddit.com/r/OculusQuest/comments/n5vrcc/i_cant_play_echo_vr_anymore/
The existing manual reporting system isn't good enough because it is too time-consuming. The problem is out of control despite the availability of manual reporting. Developers need to be given tools that will auto-ban users that use racist, sexist or abusive speech towards others on the platform.
Oculus automated tools for removal of toxic users has to be the first line of defence here. While I recognise automation can't catch all abuse, they could solve 9 out of 10 of the problems which would totally shift the culture from 'uncontrollably toxic once apps get popular' to 'occasional toxicity which can be dealt with manually'.
App developers shouldn't each have to create their own toxicity defence tools which do basically the same thing for each app. They should have platform tools developed by Oculus which can be easily implemented in accordance with some tweaking permitted by the developer.
It's a problem common to the entire platform. It makes no sense whatsoever for each developer to have to spend resources tackling the same problem.

It would really be great if instead of having to ban bad players there was a badge or something you could sign up for that lets you get assigned to lobby's where everyone agrees to be respectful.

This is really needed...the toxic behavior really spoils many otherwise amazing experiences. Its one of the main reasons I stopped playing echo arena a couple years ago (with my CV1) and I've since experienced toxic behavior through other apps. I think the tools need to be improved. Thank you Oculus.

This has definitely been going on long enough.
I've been a long time Oculus user and am being run out of my previous favourite titles due to toxicity. Let's go, this needs to be a higher priority now as the influx of new users just continues to grow.
