allow screen casting of OQ2 headset regardless the account in use
Screen casting needs to be enabled always on the primary account, regardless the account in use, as it works now, you cannot screen cast at all when a secondary account is logged in
I have two Oculus Quest 2 to host friends at my place and play together using app sharing.
Both headset are on my primary facebook account, and one headset has "app sharing" enabled and i let my friends logging in with their own accounts.
When a secondary account is in an Oculus Quest 2 device, there is no way to cast the screen because it requires the primary account to be in use, and this is a serious issue because i need to see what my friends are looking at, particularly those making their first steps in VR.

My kids who are not as savvy often need help with interface or even within a game. But I don’t want them playing with my account and my online name. I need casting to help guide and assist people (especially kids) on my headset on their accounts.
What about adults who share a device but not purchases? So one of them gets fewer features than they other?

For sure! There's no reason to not be allowed to cast on all accounts and it feels like a bit of a rip off.

Yes! And also definitely to add the Oculus to every new users phone so they can cast too or whatever.

Definitely a NEED. In all honesty me and the wifie feel cheated out with this multi-account feature. It should allow the same things as the Admin account except for changing system files and settings.

we need this feature

Come on Oculus!!
I purchased 2 sets, one for me and one for my sons who live elsewhere.
Not being able to cast when using my account is ridiculous and completely kills the idea of family play to the point that I might sell theirs and just give them mine. I am not going to put another 250+ dollars so far buying every game twice.
What is the logic behind blocking casting? As a way to frustrate and alienate players from sharing a fun activity with their families ??
This is really a deal breaker

This is such a simple feature that needs to happen. I purchased 2 sets for the gf and myself and discovered this shortcoming when trying to watch and help her through the VR experience. Something this simple makes what should be a fun experience frustrating.
This limitation is ********.
Just bought a quest too and I find this ridiculous especially as it will only directly cast the Chromecast and I have to jump through so many hoops already.
Open this up now.
This is a real issue and prevents fun from being had. Please implement the ability to cast from admin account for sub users

Can you please fix this? It would make the Oculus experience way more fun for families and friends
Please please fix this asap!!
This needs to be changed and updated. It makes the games/experience more socialable and interactive if others can see what is being experienced by the player but also not screwing up the primary owners progress/experience in games. Please fix this bug.
I agree. This is the dumbest feature not being able to cast from my kids accounts on my oculus. So now they have to use mine and ***** up all the scores.

They need to have this option available. I'm considering selling mine due to this and other issues.
I agree. Not knowing that the secondary account can’t cast before purchasing games with the intention of doing so is very frustrating. Casting from secondary accounts would be an excellent feature to have in place so that others who are on the border of purchasing or not purchasing will make their leap over to buying their own. Forcing people to buy a new system by refusing casting of a secondary account isn’t going to work. At least allow ONE secondary account the ability to cast. It doesn’t have to be all of them.
Agreed, this feature needs to be enabled.
I'm sharing a device with someone else and made a game purchase (Beat Saber) from a secondary account without knowing that we wouldn't be able to cast the game. I love the game itself, but it's really not that much of a fun when you can't see what your friend is doing.

I agree. Screen casting should not be limited to solely the admin account. It would be greatly appreciated if Oculus would consider adding this feature.
