Provide a way to get back to the screen that shows you all your facebook friends that have oculus.
The screen that shows your facebook friends that have oculus accounts is shown only once during initial setup. There's no indication that it's a "one time deal" and that you will NEVER be able to get back to it if you don't act on it right then. This is very bad UX, as the thing people most want to do when they're setting up a new VR system is use the VR, not go adding friends. It's not until you've got it set up and used it a bit that you want to add social features, but by then it's too late.
It is NOT tractable to individually search for each of your 1000 facebook friends to see if they have oculus. That would take hours or days. You have the information already in hand... you displayed it during setup! Fix the UX.
Also, your support people are not very helpful on this topic. They give you endless runaround telling you to search for every one of your friends individually and ignore the SIMPLE request for how to get back to the initial setup screen showing facebook friends.
I had the same exact experience and posted something quite similar to yours before I saw your post. At the VERY least they should give a warning that says "Hey, for some crazy reason you won't be able to go back to this list, so if you want to add them, better do it now."
