Allow volume to be silent when casting to iOS app
I use casting to monitor what other people are doing in VR, I don't need to hear their audio (they're close enough I can hear the sound from the headset). However on the iOS app you can't turn the sound down to 0; it goes to 1%, but that's as low as you can go.

Figured it out guys, if you click on the screen cast on the device you are watching it on. It will come up with a menu. (launch apps, launch tutorial, reset guardian, reset headset view and settings) . Within settings you can disable the audio casting. Good luck

Kind of crazy to me that this simple issue hasn’t been resolved yet...

Just came here to +1 this issue. Same use case as others mentioned - watching my family playing next to them, no need for volume - only picture to help them click if needed. It's extremely frustrating to not be able to change the media volume, it constantly changes ringer volume even though my volume buttons are set globally to change media volume.

This really needs fixing.
I can have my phone on do not disturb, every single volume setting as silent and when casting to phone its still loud.
Please allow casting to mute sounds

Same on Android, wrong volume is being adjusted, hopefully a simple bug fix will make a big difference for playing with others.

The previous commenter is exactly right, it’s using call volume instead of media volume. It should be a simple fix.
i'm surprised more people arent having this issue. Happens on android as well. Me and my wife take turns playing beat saber whilst one watches on app. Its now a nightmare as the sound through the app cannot be muted but is out of sync with the headset, so the watcher gets a horrible experience. I think the app is using the wrong volume, it uses call volume, not media volume, so I think this is a bug
