Bring Oculus Gallery to Quest2
On Quest1 there is a native Gallery app to view photos/videos. On Quest2 this app is missing and personal media can only be viewed through Oculus TV. The issue is with a large amount of files, OculusTV is impractical to use because you must scroll to the right to find files. Gallery allowed media to be grouped by directories. Files can be sorted in different ways with thumbnail and list view. For users with hundreds of photos and videos please either bring us Gallery or integrate the folder grouping and file sorting features into Oculus TV.

+1. Really missing this app. Can't see my 360 images and videos in my Oculus quest 2.

Why is this not on the Quest 2? It's such an obvious app to have on it. Pretty dumb decision.

I just raised a complaint with the BBB. Hopefully with enough complaints they may give this a serious thought.
WhenI contacted support i was advised to vote for this. This cant be a democratic vote. This is a feature we paid for when we bought it . They simply cant take it away. And no we should not be required to vote if we need it or not. They cant take this feature away without providing a functional alternative.
Raised this issue again in

Seriously WTF!???!!! You take away the gallery app and now require the TV app to view content, and have to use that TV POS app on the internet mind you!!! The gallery is so much easier for viewing 360 pics, 180 VR pics, and the video was ok but Skybox was better. Now there is no where we can easily view pics that we DON'T want to share thru the TV app publicly and have to wait for it to freaking load slowly thru Facebook???? I will be getting rid of my Oculus and going to another better VR headset...F U Facebook you are literally a POS!!!

Bring it back to the Quest 1 ! Do you pay interest in the people use of your product? lot of professionnals in design are using the quest gallery for their customers. YOU make me lose money if i can’t show the projects in VR! i bought an oculus to OCULUS, then Facebook bought it and make a **** of it!

Don't forget the exchange functionality via Dropbox etc. This allowed me to transfer VR pictures from my smartphone and PC to my Quest and my friends could easily access them from their Quest too. It was a fantastic way to exchange personal immersive pictures and videos. For me and some of my friends this was one of the main reasons to buy a Quest. I realy don't understand why Oculus is removing those fantastic features and not pushing it further...maybe in cooperation with VR camera companies like Insta360.

Gallery was my #1 app. That's where I could view my 3D photos and videos on Dropbox and even watch together with friends on their Go's. Now I don't have anywhere in the cloud I can store and watch my media alone or with friends. I've got a VR180 camera which is gathering dust and I'm cut off from my friends who still own a Go because Big Screen can't update the code for the Go.
I almost sent back my Quest 2. I've put my faith that someone will fix this. At least bring Gallery back into you have replaced the function with something else.
