Protect Oculus linked Facebook accounts from being locked
I'm hearing multiple stories of users' Facebook accounts being suspended for no particular reason (e.g. using an alias or a novelty profile pic, because they're gamers and don't use Facebook for other purposes) resulting in them losing access to their Quest and all the software they've purchased. It can take weeks for these accounts to be unlocked.
Oculus linked accounts should be protected from suspension like this and I'm appalled your company didn't have the foresight to protect against this as it's a basic common sense function. Your competitors are miles ahead with this. Accounts should also have a fast track reactivation process because Facebook can take up to 30 days. Taking people's money and blocking their purchases feels like theft.
This isn't good enough.
My confidence in your products and making future purchases has been really affected by this.

I just spent 2 weeks, 50 emails, 18 hours of chat time and probably 30 hours of total time fixing a FB account that was hacked/suspended/hijacked.....
No one at Oculus support could fix the problem, which required a FB account reset. We finally started over with a new FB account and a hard reset....ridiculous for using hardware that I was not using FB for.....
I agree with you. They do a lot of shoddy things and I wish I knew this before purchasing our Q2 headset. We now have to buy another one so my husband can play and he has to get a Facebook account because his hasn’t been used in years, we are concerned he will blocked for non use of the account.
