My son's right touch controller is busted and needs to be replaced! I've been trying to find one to purchase with no outcome. He now has an Oculus Quest that he can't play!!! I don't understand why the controllers aren't available to purchase!!!!!!!

PLEASE MAKE REPLACEMENT CONTROLLERS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE!!!!!
I have two oculus quest 2 that I purchased for my sons, I have been waiting for months trying to purchase new controllers. I paid $629.49 CAN for each one and they are useless sitting in the corner. this is so frustrating!!!!!!!!

I'm never purchasing another Meta product until it is clear that replacement components will be available. Furthermore I'm not recommending the Quest line of products to anyone. Absolutely unacceptable for a key component like a controller be to 100% unavailable to paying customers

yes make replacement controllers and make them cheap as dirt please like 5 or 10$ each cause they breakdown so often!!!

I am absent disgusted that I can not purchase a new oculus quest 2 controller anywhere including the oculus.com site. I have tried for months and put in my email for when they become available and nothing. Doesn’t it
Seem odd to anyone that it’s the right controller that seems to be breaking. I’m thinking a class action lawsuit may be the only answer here. -

Also, why can't I vote for this? Pretty telling they capped it at 731 votes. There are going to be a lot of people who will never buy another headset from Oculus. This will happen with quest 2 and 3....on and on it will go.

It's just insane that there are no replacement controllers for quest 1 already. Simply unacceptable. Shame on you.

I got a oculus quest 2 on Christmas and 6 days after it broke. I didn’t break them because it was a manufacturing issue. I can get a replacement in months possibly, I can buy a new quest or possibly scam 200 dollar controllers on Amazon. **** oculus, u don’t even allow ur customers to buy replacement controllers

I am shocked that the controller is no longer available. The system is absolutely useless. Honestly, we should all come together and have this company cancelled. This is an outrage. I wonder if there are any legal ramifications to this scam. I am just angry enough to find out.

Ya I’m in the same boat. Right controller broken and impossible to get a replacement. Do t recommend oculus.

Meta, please take note, you should license the controllers to third-parties in order to ensure future availability of accessories for older devices. For example the PlayStation 4 came out in 2013 and I can still buy a metric ton of controllers fro many sources with all sorts of extras added! That’s customer services and Long Term product support

I posted a question about when Quest 1 Controllers were coming back in stock and I was told basically tuff sh!t we don’t sell those anymore! So I have a perfectly fine Quest 1 but I cannot use it because I cannot buy a replacement controller and Meta hasn’t licensed the controller to any third-party manufacturer because they obviously want to push me to purchase a new Quest 2 as a replacement. Any Quest 1 Controllers being sold on eBay are going for $100+ which further makes it more cost effective to just buy a Quest 2 - aren’t there laws about how long a manufacturer must provide replacement parts?

Now the question is: when your controller breaks do you upgrade to a whole new system, and run the risk that when the quest 3 comes out they leave you out to dry again?
Seems like we'll be in a perpetual cycle of upgrading headsets every couple of years just because a controller breaks.
I have the same issue with one of my controllers not working, but I didn't whack mine or anything, it just doesn't pair anymore and the battery is apparently always flat. I won't be buying any more oculus products any more, I'm done

Tip: Try the Accessories part of the Oculus Store. Alternatively try Amazon or eBay for alternative suppliers.

I have two original Quests, which cost me a total of $800, and in less than two years they've made this investment a total waste once the controllers go (one of which already has.) That's pretty wretched customer care, end of story.

agreed this is ridiculous. I love my headset and deserve to be able to use it to its full potential. please oculus try to deliver. I don't want to have to buy a whole new headset

I can't believe this. Oculus made Quest 1 Controllers unavailable just so we have to buy a whole new system after accidentally breaking our controllers? We understand you want to make as much money as possible oculus, but putting the replacement controllers off-sale went to far. My left controller got hit so bad that it cant keep good tracking for a whole minute. And many other people have broken their controllers too. Theres not many people that get their controllers broken on accident and then can say "doesn't matter, I can just buy a new one right away". I hope you understand where i am going oculus. If you ever read this oculus, i just beg to you to bring back the replacement controllers. Saving up my money for the quest 1 really took me a while, and I dont want to go start over from the beginning again. Please, ADD BACK THE REPLACEMENT CONTROLLERS FOR QUEST 1. PLEASE.

I can't believe one isn't able to buy a controller replacement for Q1. I was borrowing someones Q1 and of course, a small ***** develops on one of the controllers though I didnt drop it.... no biggie, ill just buy him a new one except.... there aren't any! I was going to be buying a Q2 but this puts a rather sour taste in my mouth....
