System-wide way of simply pointing at people (or avatar) and muting them during any game
I constantly see people complaining about being annoyed by online voice chat.
・"I hate the 8 year olds" or
・"I was trying to enjoy the game but there was this annoying guy screaming on the mic"
・"this one guy kept spoiling what was gonna happen after every part"
・"that girl was fighting with her mom and did not mute her mic"
・"someone on voice chat was playing some noisy music in the background"
and so on..
Some people suggest "adults only" voice channels, but honestly age in itself is not a decisive factor.
How to fix it:
→ It would be so nice if Oculus was able to develop a universal way to point at someone (in-game character, in-game avatar, AND through some universal system-wide UI on the Oculus menu) and shut him/her up easy and quickly. Also a way to "show me the people who I heard talking in the last 10 seconds so I can choose to mute someone" like a button on the main system menu, or a configurable shortcut.
