Support USB-C headphones
The headphones that came with my Google Pixel 3 phone don't work with my Quest.
I don't own any headphones with a 3.5mm jack because phones are moving away from it.
I agree, my 3.5mm port is broken on my quest 2 after the headphone cord was yanked, they should either allow usb type C headphones directly, usb headphones thru type c adapter or 3.5mm headphones thru usb type c to 3.5mm jack adapter. There are more people returning their quest 2 due to malfunctioning or broken 3.5mm jack and this would help reduce the number of returns because that port is really flimsy on this device
Add support please
It’s probably because they are developing wireless headphones specific for the Quest to sell us instead.
Funnily, the volume control on my USB-C headphones does work, but the headphones themselves do not.
+1 for support USB-C

Bro its currently the 9th of February - 20 fcking 21. Why is this not a feature yet even I could fix it with my limited knowledge of coding
Seriously how is this not supported.
It wouldn't be such an issue if Bluetooth compatibility was better.
USB audio on the oculus quest 2 doesn't work because of the two lines in the kernel config. You just should edit them, and all will be fine. Unfortunately, these changes can be done only by Oculus developers.
want to update that the following adapter IS NOT CURRENTLY WORKING with the quest:
The quest makes a sound when connecting it to the type c port but no audio through it.
If a dongle like this can work, it will be the end of using wired headphones\earphones with the quest, especially when combining it with haptic feedback devices which require low latency (aptx) which the quest currently does not support either.
Hoping for a fix sooner than later.
How you got 0 response for this? I wonder when and if the quest will support this.
