This really is a basic features that should be available. Right now I have to use SideQuest if I want to share share my photos and videos through any means other than Facebook.

Are you on Iphone? On Android if you record a cast from the Quest 2 it does give you the option to save the video right to your phone. 0o0

also, add the ability to share in a chat with an Oculus friend, not just via messenger. It's odd that sharing content natively within the headset is so difficult.

Yeah we could save it on the mobile oculus app

Yeah like a save to Facebook storage option. Also implement Facebook storage, so I have another app to stick in my cloud storage folder.

I would love to specify dropbox or google photos, as the destination for my videos or photos taken in VR. So much more convenient than manually getting the photos off the device via cable. Anyone have a workaround?

They want you to post your video on Facebook. Period.

Just being able to share via Bluetooth would be great, but a wifi sharing option would be good also. It is a tedious process to transfer videos and pics.

The Video and photo feature is pretty much garbage.

Sharing is pretty rudimentary at present. Easy image and video export to devices would be a big quality of life improvement. Even better if we could bind extra share targets, like regular Android stuff does.

I am honestly fine with needing a facebook account, but it has to be optional-widescreen with audio.
