Allow the IPD size overlay to be disabled
Sometimes a slight movement of the head can be enough to move the lenses slightly, I am unsure of what causes this, could be the bridge of my nose pressing upward, could be a wobbly IPD slider, either way it becomes a source of annoyance when the IPD "toast" message keeps floating up onscreen during an experience.
Please, please, please give us an option to disable this.

Facebook is a website, social media and gather-everybody's-personal-information company. There lack of hardware experience is showing. Sure they bought Oculus and got ahead of the game in VR, but this won't last. Because they don't know how to do hardware. As you can see from this thread, they don't care.
In time other wireless headsets will come around, made by companies who know hardware. They hopefully will put quality before quantity, unlike Facebook who puts quantity before quality.
Instead of fixing it on the Quest 1, it's a feature of the Quest 2.
I'm dealing with Facebooks **** to be involved in this early time of VR, but the moment i can put Facebook in the trash and buy a decent headset i'm there.

I should be a very small code change to make the appearance of the toast/popup less sensible to IPD changes.
Why is this STILL not fixed in version 23???? It is VERY annoying.

Please fix this.

Please give us a disable option!
Come on! Fix this, it totally destroys the experience! Can believe they still haven't pay attention to this!

Same here. It is very annoying. As a QA engineer I can't believe how Oculus QA is not flagging this as a major issue.

Can someone make a mod to fix this, because oculus doesn't seem to care

This needs to be fixed. I'm tired of playing games only to have the IPD widget pop up mid play, ruining my experience. I literally took the headset off today out of frustration after making it farther into a difficult song on beatsaber than I ever had before, when the widget pops up and causes me to fail out of the song. I'm tired of it. Just add an option to turn the digital display OFF!
this is horrible. i cannot play any games with movement.
please provide a way to disable it

the ipd pop-up effectively renders the Quest useless if you value immersion even a little bit - why is this not fixed yet?

Hire a competent product manager to properly set a requirement here--this notification should not nag during normal operation.
Also, hire a competent engineer to properly debounce this or just let us turn it off. The utility of seeing this number is very low. The penalty of constantly breaking immersion with this pop up completely undermines the whole premise of the product.
YES PLS IT IS ANOYING AS ****
I hate oculus for stupid mistakes like this
MAKE IT OPTIONAL!!!!!!!!

I just want to add my voice to the many. It's become pretty unusable for me. I can't believe they won't just add a software toggle. It's really quite sad.

IPD Keeps popping up to the point that it's making any standard of game play impossible.
