Connect headset order to subsequently created account.
I placed my order for my quest BEFORE I set up my oculus account and now my order history is unconnected to the account I subsequently created. I imagine many if not most orders will work that way as well. We search for a link to buy the device and then buy it. I do not remember being asked if I wanted to set up an account before completing my order, which I would have done.
AFTER I ordered, I started looking at possible programs to run, and THEN as I was ordering them, I realized I would need to set up an account. But now my account has NO idea about my device. I know I will eventually register it, but the order history will always be disconnected, which is not good if there is a problem with the device. This is a VERY avoidable and seemingly easily fixable problem. I even used the same eMail for the order as the account setup. Also, once I HAVE registered the device, it is clear that I am the owner. So should be able to have the order history.
Can we please try to find a way to fix this? There really should be a method to add an order to the account, because I didn't NEED an account until AFTER I decided to order the headset.
