Offer trade in of old Quest devices when new versions are released
For environmental reasons, there should be a trade in program in place when the next generation of Quest launches, so that one can send in their old Quest and get a discount for the new model. Especially since the device will effectively be useless when the battery dies, since this battery is not user replacable.
The Quest can then be refurbished and sold at a lower price, widening the potential audience for VR.

Considering the small life cycle of the original Quest - there should be an option to trade-in for a Quest 2. Apple does it - why not Facebook?
Since oculus quest 2 is about to launch, I feal betrayed by oculus for launching a better version without the option of trade in an old quest to get the new one cheaper. It's really a shame knowing that I paid my quest 800$CAD and that a new one would cost me almost 500$CAD because i havn't waited longuer for the 2nd one to get out less than 1 year later.
Offer trade-in of Oculus Gos (plus $100, or a little more; but I would like it to be less) for the Quest!!

I absolutely agree with Nh. I have Oculus Rift that I bought last year, but with Quest out in the market I want to upgrade, but I asked Customer support. They said no such option available at this time. With technology changing this fast there should be upgrades and trade-in options available.
