Partner with Alta VR Studios to bring A Township Tale to the Quest.
If Oculus partners up with Alta VR Studios and port A Township Tale to the Oculus Quest. Of course, the graphics would have to be lowered a bit (I think), but even then I think it would become a HUGE success, I've heard alot of people tell me they're sad that A Township Tale isn't on the Oculus Quest, and that they don't have a good enough PC to stream it via ALVR/other means of streaming. If you make this happen, I think the sales of the Quest would go up, and you would get a lot of happy fans. I know if I would buy a wireless VR headset with A Township Tale instantly, if I weren't even considering it beforehand.

I really would love for to come to Oculus Quest 2 as I pre-ordered without doing my research in them. I thought they could play all vr games without a computer which I don’t have lol. But the only game I really enjoy is a Township take and I think it should Be brought over to Oculus Quest 2.
How many votes does this need? I'm getting the oculus 2 when it comes out and i'm realy looking forward to a township tale being brought to the quest
pleeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaase this is such a good game and the player count will sky rocket if you add it to Quest
Yos, take your time, but please, make it happen

Plz I had to build a hole new set up to play this on my quest this would be grate
I just built a new computer with everything top of the line. I rebuilt my computer mainly FOR this game, but as I've gotten new powers the thought of going through trying to unfuck how to get this to work on VR has taken a backseat to everything else that I can now do. I knew this was going to be a nightmare to figure out how to get running. I knew it was going to take 3 hours of research to figure out and that's exactly why I have yet to play it. Because now I can play/do/make so much other shit with this kind of power. The quest's bugs combined with the workload it takes to EVEN get to play this game is very impressive. How people are even playing it is impressive itself. I'm a programmer so I'm not some dumbass who doesn't know the difference between right click and left click. The fact that someone has to LITERALLY solve a puzzle of "go here do this, then do this, then go here, then once you do that activate this thing, and then sign in and login to this. Did you select 'Steam VR' in the dropdown after installation? Ha! Gotcha, because it's not gonna be in Steam VR. We love that joke, everyone falls for that one. Now you need to go to your desktop, and then once you do that you must tap dance marry had a little lamb in your house with a lav mic (IT MUST BE A LAV MIC), and then once you do that then you'll get a prompt to tell us which photos include a bus, and if you get this wrong you must start over. IT's THAT EASY!
That may not how it appears to you, but how it feels to you is irrelevant. How it feels to your users is all that matters. Even if you have someone who has gotten the game working, and they want a friend to play. You think they're going to sit down with them and fkin coach them through this installation process? Most people are going to say 'fuck this' especially to something they haven't experienced. Your perception of the ease of installation is a mute point because if everyone was like you (the creators) then people would just make the damn game themselves. You need to think about people who haven't created the game. Fk creating some stupid ass shop to buy new dumbass shit to wear. Get the game easy to use before you start doing that. 5% of people buying shit in the store when there's 500 people total playing is A LOT less than 5% of people buying shit in the store when there are 5000 people playing.
Think long term. Not what you want right now, in this moment.
You're missing out on a massive market. I'm a business consultant, and this would be the NUMBER ONE issue I would focus on. You're losing 95% of your market because of this.....
I think that if they cant directly bring it to quest that they could make a version that is very downgraded if township tale is actually that processor intensive but that would probably be incompatible with the pc version. But you dont care right you just want to play it.
At the moment I m just voting on this for others because Im unsure of if I will even be able get quest. My gosh I made this kinda big.
please bring it to the quest
