Yes, i think they can easily track feets using the downward facing cameras or maybe with some small sensors you ******** the legs

Facebook is probably already working on this possibility, but here's how I see it happening: an extra lighthouse that communicates with your headset, and trackers for feet/hips. Sold as a bundle, the lighthouse is this small cube that can sit anywhere as long as it can detect you, and batteries for the tracking points (maybe like a single AA battery). That's something I bet will be released in the future.

I feel that full body tracking vastly improves immersion in social VR applications. I get so excited seeing people in apps like VR Chat when they have full body tracking. Would love to see an official Oculus solution or even partnered 3rd party option.

If Oculus created or permitted others to create their own bespoke trackers that could be attached anywhere, they could be used for body tracking or tracking props. Jace is right that they won't be too cheap or simple but if created in mass, like the Vive pucks, they might find a decent price point.

You'd need an external bluetooth accessory with a camera, 3D sensor, battery and it's own processor, so it probably wouldn't be cheap. But it's possible. I'd want one.
