More Games!
Having gotten this new system there seems to be an underwhelming amount of quality games that really allow players to immerse themselves! Build the library.

There is so much potential with this system to bring to the market new playability to old favorites as well as new uniquely immersive games not offered on hand held or wired systems. Yet, I too am still feeling underwhelmed by the lack of variety of apps in general for this system.
There are few sincere projections about what will be brought to the Oculus in the near future (not shady pie-in-the sky 10yr down the road predictions). So far, the Oculus 2 seems like a test marketed product, rather than a finished one due to the very empty and proprietary App Store, which is a mess. Few demos, high ticket prices for unfinished and unpolished apps (with limited or no support from the developers), and a very sketchy support/customer service/purchasing and returns system all blanketing the Oculus user with a sense of unease.
I bought the Oculus in hopes that I would be able to get my proverbial “foot in the door” on the everyman’s version of what was once thought of as cutting edge technology- a Star Trek style future. I think this system does have some potential to lead us in that direction, IF the apps are aimed at exploration and immersion of the single user for long term play sessions (24 hrs+) to complete the app/game, and multiple sessions of replay ability (different endings, randomized play, multiple saves).
I understand the Oculus is under heavy influence by a social media company which may not understand the solo aspect of gaming, but that is where true immersion starts. Additional functionality should be added to offer the option of multi player interactions within a household (local connection) first, and then also online capabilities in which one can choose to invite specific users or join random ones. However, multi user play should NEVER be the sole of primary focus of any app for it to be successful. If people love their experience, many will wish to share it.

Have you read the agreement that developers have to adhere to? They are blocking development with abusive requirements that have nothing to do with quality and everything to do with pushing an agenda.

We need more "real games" with story and playtime. No more fidgety games. Moss is a good example with longer playtime for relaxing afterwork gameing. Please no more Casual Wii like games.

The Quest is a new system, and most devs are only just getting into porting their games to the Quest. Next year, there should be a ton of games.

We absolutely need more content for the Quest!! As people are joining in VR, the current apps are plentiful. But for people who are interested in PC VR titles but don't have a powerful PC enough to run VR, we need them to be ported over to the quest. Games like Wrench would be awesome to show to my dad!!
