Quit rejecting so many apps and let the users decide what is good and what is not. You are really ******* off your user base.
You guys are rejecting too many awesome apps. Please quit policing developers and let them develop. The only thing I don’t like about Oculus Quest is the policing of developers. I haven’t talked to one owner that likes what you guys are doing so stop it already and let it evolve organically!!

It seems fairly obvious from the dev agreement and the games being allowed on the platform that they think they have the right to censor our VR experience, to control what we do with our own property in our own private lives. You have the legal right to install any software you want on your own computerized devices yet they have made it almost impossible to do so?

Simple, a secondary store for non approved apps- like SideQuest, except with less hoops to jump through.
Come on, sure nobody used the secondary store for the PC Rift but that was because we all had Steam and direct downloads- It was redundant. Quest on the other hand is way too locked down, especially for more casual users.

What tony said and Johanna, maybe inform yourself a bit in more in depth before writing such nonsense, the steamVr solution is garbage because it doesn’t work for everyone and many people have a bad experience! Facebook and oculus try to prevent the that the well is being poisened which is always a huge concern. Oculus is handing out huge amounts to developers that couldn’t otherwise make the games they want to make for vr and overall they are really more than vr could have hoped for!

Oh really? You “approve” the bully tactics Mark’s using? Let’s be honest here, since I’ve been reading this stuff since I was born, and basically the only thing I wasn’t around for was Virtual Boy, and I’ve been waiting for VR to blossom for years: Mark, as EVERY INTERVIEW SHOWS, wants to make VR the next Facebook. He thinks he can turn the gamer’s base of now into the lightspeed communication interface of tomorrow. Just look at any of the Forbes or tech news reports in the past year. The problem is that VR belongs to US, the fun-lovers, the hard-workers, the artists, the outsiders, the etc. So what he’s trying to do is force the market out by first forcing SteamVR streaming out of the Quest proper, then he’s tightening the review process so good GAMES don’t get in but good APPS do. If Oculus wants to debate me, they can happily send one of their pre-recorded comments.

I don't agree, really strongly do not agree.
I dont want this platform turned into an IOS app store, where its race to the bottom in terms of what revenue a developer can expect to get.
Keep out the hoards of ****..., if a developer wants to get their stuff into the store, then they will have to get past the first hurdle, and by limiting what gets in, means that you stand a chance of getting back in revenue the bucket of money you put down developing it in the first place.
