Somehow make the device lighter. It is too heavy.
I wish the oculus was lighter. I couldn’t play much long because I had to put always too much pressure on my head and gets very uncomfortable within less than 20 minutes playing. It is a heavy device.

My wife hates this headset it hurt her neck but I'm pretty okay with it. I'm assuming things will improve over time for future headsets.

Maybe a slim version like consoles with the SOC at 7 nm with no heatsink, no fan, lighter materials, and less plastic.

It's not strictly the weight, but the balance, that's an issue. The rear strap material is very slippery, and for some people like myself the whole headset slips down in front and up in the back as I play. A weight on the back (like one of the battery banks) or some other material that grips your head on the back better, can make it feel a lot better. In fact even getting VR Cover replacement facial interface and the slip-on covers have helped mine stay where it should a little better. A weight on the back means you can loosen the straps more though.

That's a compromise you have to make for a standalone wireless VR headset. If you want a lighter device I suggest the Rift S.
