LBE arenas support
The Quest has so many advantages over what is currently being done in LBE arenas: real 6 degrees of freedom(no backpacks, no wires), ease of use, comfort.
However, as of today, the Guardian and some other API limitations (such as no access to the cameras, no way to place trackers to correct the tracking, 40 sq.m maximum surface) make it impossible to build immersive, multiplayer arenas experience for large rooms.
This could be solved by opening up or providing some special API for LBE arenas developers which would give more control over the guardian

There are massive overhauls to the Guardian system I'd like to see. For almost every player, world/arena scale is the only feasible way to enjoy large playing areas and allow developers to create scaled experiences that aren't dependent on awkward locomotion systems. Part of the appeal of the Quest is having the technical potential for this already built in, but appears to be held back by liability concerns. A potential temporary solution is to simply give only developers further access and control over Guardian. Additionally, shared Guardian would enable multi-user LBE, which can be as simple as just a group of friends in a large court, etc.
The massive potential for good gameplay experiences in large areas is already well known as shown in an older Oculus Connect video highlighting arena gameplay, as well as Space Pirate Arena. But nobody else has the keys to it right now other than disabling Guardian and using dodgy/questionable re-centering techniques to setup arena level gameplay.
LBE is just one potential use case for this. Being able to play anywhere, given proper lighting conditions, and utilize all the space available would be a boon to regular players.
