THIS IS IT!! This is a great idea also for people LIKE ME , with TRUST ISSUES (from War). I agree with this idea!

This could be implemented like the new experimental Oculus Move feature that has just been released... look up in headset and you can see a video feed from the external cameras in a small window overlaid on whatever it is you are doing.

This is exactly what I realized would help when trying to play some VR without tripping over my sons toys (eg: if he's throwing them into my play space while playing)
