Family Sharing
Several other platforms like Steam, PlayStation, etc. offer family sharing for multiple users in the same household. The same game can’t be played at the same time across multiple accounts or devices, but can be shared within a household in the same way that physical media works.

This one is very important to me. I own a couple headsets which I let my nieces and nephew use and I should be allowed to share my purchased games to their user accounts and play them with them!
Large families shouldn't have to buy 5 copies of a game just to be able to play it on multiple headsets within the same household?!

It’s insane that it’s not already an option, clearly robbing families is the priority in our society.

3 quest 2’s in my house now. Assumed family sharing was a thing already. Should have done my research. Won’t buy multiples of the same game. Come on Zuck, You can’t have all the money in the world. You sell our private information and we get nothing. Give us that at least!

We now have an Oculus 1 and 2 for each kid and its absolutely ridiculous to have to buy the same exact game twice. Seriously Facebook/Oculus get your head out of your ***. Its not that hard to enable family sharing on the same wifi network. Just create a main account holder per household and set a limit of devices that can share. I doubt many people have more than 2 but you could account for "up to 5" or something as long as its within the same wifi network as the primary

Good day
How can I take off my headset and allow my husband to put it on so he can see what I see? -

The games that you purchase for your "main" quest 2 unit of your household should be in a library- then if you have more than one device in that household those units should be able to play games from the households library. Every member of a family or friends that come over should NOT ever have to buy the games again to play. It is rediculous. Family sharing is a must! Come on facebook, I’d refund if I could - very ******

I bought my husband 2 headsets for Christmas and a game pack. We wanted to recreate the experience of playing Arizona Sunshine in a VR room pre pandemic. We naturally assumed we could share the game. Shameful that this isn’t possible. Glad there is a class action suit against FB.

Sucks that we can't even share this with each other without buying the game 2x. As much as you already pay for the system, you'd think you could at least have more people in the house hold be able to play.

What they needs to do is make a netflix like platform set up. Set a max number of accounts or price point extra accounts. Then the main account holder can buy the game that each individual account can access it under their login. It's simple. They are going to lose a bunch of business with this.

Hi, I own Quest 1, and I am considering buying a Quest 2 for my daughter but I'm hoping I don't have to rebuy her games. Right now, my oculus account has kids games and adult games.
Is there a way to split the games or give them to my daughter on a new Quest device?
Basically I can't justify buying the games all over again. -

You would think signing in with your Facebook account would make it a bit easier for Facebook to police, with family members already listed on my account. Yes it can be abused, like adding your best friend as a brother or something, but they have a head start over other companies in keeping it legit. I was going to get a second headset for my partner, but as it stands she can just use mine to play games until family sharing is a thing.

How is a big company like Facebook not have family sharing

You would think a company like Facebook could figure out family sharing across multiple devices. I'm taking back my second Quest 2 tomorrow. What a waste.

I was going to buy another headset so our family could play together, but having to buy 2 games every time, makes it hard to justify

I want to buy more headset so kids can play together. We are huge fans of beat saber, incl music packs. Also multiplayer games like 'Cook Out' best played in multiplayer. But then paying twice for the digital content would be too much.
So I would love to see 'smart family sharing': a special mode where games sharing works when headsets are physically close together, like in the same room. (eg bluetooth proximity or on the same WIFI)
This would also be great if you have friends coming over, we play a game we own in the family. Then when friends leave buy the game to play at home as well because they loved it. Like a board game.
If you like this kind of sharing as well, I just posted a new idea 'Smart Family Sharing', you could vote on as well

Is there a reason we couldn't all just send a PM to Zuckerberg(I have, but we need many voices) on Facebook or just do something to get his attention in the most directly, but polite manner? There's no reason for Quest to not have this feature and rolling it our just before Christmas when all these families end up with multiple Quest 2's, would be perfect timing.
