Family Sharing
Several other platforms like Steam, PlayStation, etc. offer family sharing for multiple users in the same household. The same game can’t be played at the same time across multiple accounts or devices, but can be shared within a household in the same way that physical media works.

Totally agree. We have a Rift S and are considering getting a Quest so multiple family members can play together. I didn't expect to have to buy the games more than once. That is very disappointing.

That's true! We want to be able to play the same game within a household, with friends and family, without having to buy it twice or multiple times! It's not fair that we have to buy it again just so we can all enjoy the same game!

We’d love to buy another Quest so my wife and I can both have one and play together but not if we have to purchase the games 2x.

Definitely a must for my family. I didn't even consider that this wouldn't be an option before I bought it. I would have chosen a different brand if I had known. What did I expect from Facebook though. A platform on it's final stretch before joining Myspace.

Terrible monetization plan to have families with kids pay for the same titles multiple times . Oculus Quest could have been a truly revolutionary product with a proper go to market plan leveraging the first opportunity for wireless multiuser co-operative room scale VR experiences in consumer price range. Most of the users in this segment of multiple device ownership are families with kids. This stupid sales strategy is now a massive barrier to entry for just that segment.

Make your vote count. This is the same as the “Multiple Users” topic that currently has the most votes. Vote there instead/also.

Yeah, oculus team, We have three kids and my wife and i would like to use quest as well! How can you get us Family membership to share one oculus between our family members? Google does it, a lot of other ones do as well! Thanks

The fact that this still isn't an option angers me so much. My wife and I have a CV1 and an S. She bought hers first, so that's where all of our purchases have been consolidated... which means that I can't have my own in-game friends, high scores...
This is a major drawback to the platform.

Yeah what a bummer. Would like to buy more headsets for the kids to share but too expensive if I have to rebuy every app. Come on oculus lift your game

I am looking for the ability to have multiple family accounts linked to the same headset, so we can all have our own scores and compete with each other.

This still isn't available? Why not?

+1. Oculus quest will be exponentially engaging with multiplayer that is in the same room. I’m thinking of “the void” experiences or escape rooms. That’s one of the first things people ask. “Can we play this together?” As more and more games support this feature the biggest worry is that households need to rebuy their game twice. We need some kind of sensible family plan. That will promote usage and engagement and remove obstacles to adoption. Apple and Google have family plans for limited devices.

This would be really useful, I can still play Dirt Rally 2.0 on multiple pc's in our house with Oculus link, but would like to have my own account separate, to have a separate career, score, maybe would even be nice to compare that score to my family. We bought the Quest and absolutely love it, great product, Oculus link is REALLY buggy atm, but I'm sure it will get better with time. Family sharing would really add something that is already on most other platforms and improve the product further, really hope this happens ^^!

Come on Oculus this basic stuff.
The product and platform is great but if you want VR to become main stream families and friends need to be able to playThen the desire is manufactured to have your own instead of sharing.

How has this not been implemented yet???

Just got our first Quest for Christmas and we have been amazed by it and so was looking to see if this was possible as was going to buy one for my son next month. But really don't want to buy all the same games again. Family sharing is a must for me if we are going to get an additional quest.

I too am disappointed with not being able to share games purchased on one account across two headsets. We bought two Quest headsets for Christmas hoping our kids could play the games together and that we could play with them but we can't do this without paying twice for the games. There should be some sort of family sharing for headsets registered on the same account. Please consider this as we would be much more likely to buy more games.

Glad I started reading this thread. I have one Quest and was sooo close to buying a 2nd so my boys could play together. Guess I should have gone with something else.

Yeah, this is compounded by the fact that you have to use your facebook account for the Oculus. I think the best solution would be to make an extra account specifically for oculus purchases and no social media activity.
