Ability to remove titles from library
I’ve somehow ended up with both the Beat Saber demo and full version. I’d quite like to remove the demo from my library, but I can’t!

As noted below, if you hover over an app’s tile in your library and click the three dots in the bottom right corner, you can select uninstall. This will move the item from the Apps section of your library to the Not Installed section. The Not Installed area hosts all the apps that you have purchased or downloaded previously, but are no longer downloaded and installed on your device. Utilizing this uninstall feature should allow you to remove the Beat Saber demo from the Apps section and only have the full version of Beat Saber listed there. Hope this helps!

Agreed, this is a BS answer 'jimmy'! WE simply want the ability to CLEAN UP OUR OWN F'n library! This is SO simple, yet facebook devs are halfwits and cant do anything right! I just bought my Quest 2 (from riff) but I seriously am thinking of reselling and moving AWAY from facebook's BULL-SPIT development. WTF? every other platform has no issues, so it might be time to move back to PC, and away from this BS quest ****!!!

Any update? I have a smart phone and have everything on my smart phone not a computer. I can’t hover over an app.

I recently bought a Quest 2. But I rarely use it because I have OCD, and I don't like seeing my messed up library with all the "Not Installed" items.

Just let us remove unwanted and unused apps from our library. Just totally remove them. That's literally all we want to do.

Every time someone new puts on my headset
Them: "Whoa, there's a lot here"
Me: "Yeah, go to the top right, select "installed only" and it'll show you what is actually worth playing. 75% of the stuff listed on the main page is garbage"And then they're unimpressed by my $400 toy....

April 11, 2022One of the biggest tech/software companies in the World, still hasnt found a way to add a delete 'title from library' button.
They probaly never will, why care when you already bought the product?
10/10 would not recommend. -

It is ********! I m a software engineer and cant believe how you dont allow this simple function. I dont care that you hold installation history, I just dont want to see that things, it is mess!

you call this completed Jimmy ?
we are asking you to do a simple thing, allow us to manage our library propperly. That means to be able to remove those pesky icons for ****** apps we dont like. some of us dont like a messy library or desktops full of icons, some of us are potty trained civilized individuals -

I thought I was doing something wrong when i couldn't remove the app from the library So, this is a real thing? You really can't remove the apps from the library?. That's just insane! It's common sense to be able to clear out your library

Keep the deleted apps for your records, I don't mind, but give us the possibility to delete them from OUR own drawer!

wow... so This problem hasn't been fixed and it's not new. Was looking for an answer on how to remove the **** icon from a demo and organize my apps list but it looks like there is not a way to do it...

I stopped buying or downloading apps altogether because of this bug errr... feature as Mr. Zucks sees it. Until this is fixed I am not spending a single penny to grow Facebook errr.. Meta's profits. Till then the Oculus2 sits on my desk gathering dust.

Here we are in 2022 and still they have not done anything about this. I Spoke with Oculus support and they told me that the demos can't be deleted. This is ridiculous!

You all ******* suck for not fixing this SIMPLE organizational technique which is common sense.

Don't play stupid Jimmy, you know exactly what he was asking. Our app drawers are all a cluttered mess because we had the audacity to try a few demos, and you've done nothing to address the issue. Fix this problem! It's hands down the worst part of the entire oculus experience. We need to be able to remove old apps from the app drawer. Who is paying you to keep them there and why? It makes me not want to try new apps because if they suck I'll have to stare at them forever. Horrible UX. Fix it!!

Well said, Yanler Gener! Well said. I'm sure there's some monetary reason they won't allow us to delete titles from the library, and I'm equally sure "Jimmy" here knew exactly what was actually being asked the first time.

jimmy no that didnt help everybody i know with a quest wants the same thing people all over the world want ,. We know how To uninstall an app. from our library ,What we want and This will certainly make the platform way better Is to delete Uninstalled games from the library. Now do you understand the question correctly? Every time I see this question online, I see the same response from you guys. People are asking how to delete The uninstalled game from the library. They're not asking you how to uninstall the game. i know u will say we cant but cant is not in my vocabulary. y'all need to go back into the lab Get into the algorithms And fix the code to where we can Delete the uninstalled games from our library. that is all there is to it , implement it into the code and release the update so don't say yall cant. . it's annoying. I have over 100 titles on my library. I only have but like 40 games installed. That's what we need.

I guess this is the sacrifice of selling Oculus to Facebook. The device is very affordable for VR, in return you get mediocre support that doesn't want to add user requested "features" (It should be already there!)
