Ability to remove titles from library
I’ve somehow ended up with both the Beat Saber demo and full version. I’d quite like to remove the demo from my library, but I can’t!

As noted below, if you hover over an app’s tile in your library and click the three dots in the bottom right corner, you can select uninstall. This will move the item from the Apps section of your library to the Not Installed section. The Not Installed area hosts all the apps that you have purchased or downloaded previously, but are no longer downloaded and installed on your device. Utilizing this uninstall feature should allow you to remove the Beat Saber demo from the Apps section and only have the full version of Beat Saber listed there. Hope this helps!

"Uninstalled" is not a real solution if my news feed is still filled with garbage (news) about that app I dislike and do not want to hear about anymore. The first three items in my news feed today are about apps that I "uninstalled" and yet I'm still forced to read their stupid updates. Please fix, because this isn't really "completed", Jimmy. Thanks.

This is a terrible solution.
Not only do I not want the app I installed (Because it was terrible) but I don't want the quest to remind me to install it again every time I turn it on.
This needs to be addressed as a matter of principle, we already bought your product, stop ramming more BUY NOW BUY NOW BUY NOW down our throats.

This is still an ongoing request that needs to be addressed. I would like to be able to delete or even "hide this title" so that I never have to see them again.
Please address this issue as this is starting to be annoying for navigating my menus.

This is not a real solution.
I would like to get rid of some free apps that I added to my library as well. Even from the "Not installed" section. Why is it so hard to implement this feature?

Agree with all the responses. The only thing you will do is discourage me from EVER getting another demo.

I also wish if they make a better way to manage apps where I can sort them by custom replacement and remove the unwanted apps completely including demos

Wtf man why did you mark this completed.
If you werent going to even try you should have let another rep answer. -

Yes, they can be uninstalled, but when you go to your Apps screen, they still appear there, unless I active CHOOSE "installed" section, which I would have to do every time. We need a way to delete them fully from our library. Make it weird, make it difficult, but we need the option. Even my Xbox and Switch let me get rid of things when I'm done with them.

Why is this marked as completed @Jimmy? You can't remove titles from your library. You can uninstall them and be left with the game still showing up in your library. But you can't remove.

Agreed.. We need a way to remove Demos, Freeware, and similar wastes of space from our Library and Unit.. I don't need to see the things I've already decided on hanging around on the menu, and I certainly don't want to be forced into having certain types of files on my Quest. Especially if we can't pick the individual permissions given to those apps

The idea is NOT delivered. It is clearly the request to REMOVE items from the Library - not UINSTALLING them. I just can repeat what the others said: uninstalling the demos is not enough. I want the items out of my library!
At least for free games/apps there's absolutely no reason to prevent that.

Oculus - uninstalling the demos is not enough. I want it out of my library. Every time I go into my not installed tab I do not want to see Demo Versions! Please give us the ability to delete demos from our accounts and library.

It's specifically annoying for demos you already purchased the full game. Please let me remove the demos from the library when I already have the full version.

Jimmy, we both know that that's not what Si McClure meant. We want to be able to remove an app from Not Installed. Just like Google Play Store and Apple App Store, we want to ability to completely remove from our account a bad demo or even a embarrassing paid app.

Because you have purchased the demo from the store you can no longer delete it from your library, its as if you've purchased a full working copy of the game, if this feature became available some/a lot of people may delete other purchased apps by mistake leading to a whole can of worms for the support staff.

This isn't Oculus Support, this is where we suggest new ideas

How did this get 123 votes? You just uninstall the demo app. How do so many people not know this?

Would be great to be able to do this from the Companion app.

You can delete the demo, and it'll be hidden away under "Not Installed".
