Allow us to change brightness.
Allow the brightness to be changed like the Oculus Go.

So bright, just want to turn it down, even with night mode enabled. Hurts my eyes, inflames my sinuses, just after 20 min. Love VR, this is the limiting factor.

The Quest was too bring to use for many hours. I always wants to tone down the brightness. My eyes don't hurt but it was uncomfortable.

Returning my Quest within the week as a result of this omitted feature (and going back to my Go)

I often leave VR feeling wired, especially at night, because of how bright the screen is by default. Complimented by the new warm light Night Shift mode, this would make late night VR possible for me.

Could we have a brightness adjustment setting be added to Quest's settings
I want to buy an Oculus Quest BUT I suffer from a light sensitivity condition
who is related to bright screens and general LED , forcing me to take medication and wear dark glasses which are efficient up to a point.I'm sure to not be the only one who would benefit from this .
Most devices have this setting or I would leave in a cave by now ?
So please could you help? -

yes, reducing the brightness will not only reduce eye strain but also increase battery life.

I am part of the large group of people with hypersensitivity to brightness, I can not use the viewer for more than 15 minutes without my eyes begin to hurt and burn, and it is difficult for me to continue using the viewfinder with that level of brightness, in the case of The Oculus Go, the brightness at the minimum I can tolerate without problems, in this case I can not find the adjustment option and generates an unpleasant experience by the natural sensitivity of the eyes. I am in a VR group and the number of people who complain about the same issue is great. Solve it now.

It is very useful and necessary to activate the option to adjust the brightness of the screens on the Oculus Quest device. In the same way how it is available in the Oculus Go. It is very necessary since some people sensitive to light predict discomfort and visual exhaustion due to the high brightness that Quest has by default. In my particular case I get a dry eye and burning after two hours of use. Other people have indicated to me that the brightness generates a tearing in the eyes product of its high luminosity. My suggestion is to add this function in the same way that it is already implemented in the Oculus Go from the settings menu. For prolonged use a dimmer glow can relax eyesight and reduce fatigue as well as avoid that characteristic burning. I hope to see you soon in the next update. Excellent work so far.
