Allow the brightness to be changed like the Oculus Go.

Playing Lies Beneath, and the brightness adjustment is definitely a must. An option in the Oculus setting to control brightness would tailor the experience to user's need.

For now we definitely need a software solution for this. And for future models you should add 2 polarized lenses in front of each screen. A manual slider on the right side of the headset can then adjust the angle of one of the lenses to physically reduce the amount of light.

I can't use it anymore. I'm very light sensitive and get monstrous migranes because I can't lower the brightness.

This is astonishing that this option hasn't been implemented yet...
I love everything about Quest apart from that blinding brightness... -

For me the one thing I think that's a necessity is to be able to alter the brightness. The only screen control we have regarding brightness is night mode and think it's not that hard to allow users to alter their brightness.

A much needed option, can be a little intense looking at a bright screen with the default brightness. The go has it and almost any oled screen in existence can have the brightness changed.

Please allow users to change brightness. I'm getting headaches and having to close my eyes during certain scenes in games due to the brightness.

even with night mode, it's still too bright. I can see my eye sight deteriating looking at far objects, because it was too bright in the headset.

Being able to reduce brightness would be a huge benefit. I tried to play Shadow Quest and couldn't get past the tutorial because of the brightness. It is painful!

Yes, please add the ability to adjust the brightness. It is too bright. I'm tempted to try sunglasses. It really depends on the app running at the time. Brightness remembered per app would be ideal.

And the ability to adjust each eye separately to allow personalised balancing.

Please, I have photophobia. I can't use my oculus without having incredible headache after a few minutes. And after every session I have to rest or sleep to get it off, I even wear my glasses when using it, but it's not enough. I'm really amazed by the quest, but I will have to sell it if this is not solved.

This is really crazy-- can't think of one screened device I've ever owned that didn't have a brightness control. I'm light senstivie and prone to uveitis--this thing will spend most of its time as a paperweight until you add this.
WTFork were you thinking Oculus?
