Allow us to change brightness.
Allow the brightness to be changed like the Oculus Go.

Adjust the time and date, adjust the brightness, contrast. These settings should be default for gods sakes

most important feature!
Please allow us to change brightness on Quest 2. Thank you very much.
Michael Gallagher commented
I feel like this headset is destroying my eyes. Please allow me to adjust the brightness.
My two Quest 2 headsets will be returned for credit if a back-light dimming setting is not provided with three weeks.
Defective headsets! The godrays and smokey rooms everywhere are intolerable.

We are at Rift S version 2.2.0. I'm not sure if the comments below refer to the rift S, but we don't see anything in settings to adjust brightness.

I'm autistic (so super light sensitive) and if I knew about this going in, I definitely would've gone for a different headset. I'm sure most of us feel the same. Do you have any idea of the extent to which we enjoy staying inside and playing video games? 😂 Such a bad move

ya im ****** my eyes hurt this is bs not allowing brightness change u guys are becoming apple drones-provide the same blinding experience for all users-any other headset supports brightness adjustments im switching-fb only made night mode because its so dam bright on oculus

Was shocked to see this feature removed in version 18... would love to see it back
Bob Fanger commented
Upgrading to 18 was a downgrade for me :-(
Loved the brightness feature in the quick setings menu from v17
Okay... after the latest update 18.104.22.1683.517.224382743 brightness control has just REMOVED from the experimental menu :-( now there is just volume control..
Really I do not understand... WHY??
Ben Raubenolt commented
They did finally add this after almost a year. It is a accessible using their new experimental navigation menu. This can be closed.
Ben Carter commented
Lmao this is literally on the first setting menu you see... use your eyes, It’s been there all along...
Until new driver update we lowed brightness from nvidia control panel. After driver update you have removed this workaround. You don't want to let user adjust brightness. Why?
I'm forced to use my rift with sunglasses, that's ridiculous
Yuh g commented
It's already added
Peter F commented
Oh hey it is there now, there's a slider under settings. Still doesn't go as dim as I'd want, but with sunglasses it's getting there...
Peter F commented
Come on, add this basic setting already
Playing Lies Beneath, and the brightness adjustment is definitely a must. An option in the Oculus setting to control brightness would tailor the experience to user's need.

Please add a brightness adjustment thank's 😐
