The battery should be far from the head to avoid harmful emissions to the brain. It should be attached to the arm, shoulder or back and connected by cable to the headset. rift to quest
Hey dear Oculus team.
I bought the quest about 2 months ago and I hope there is more going on there. I think the games are not really convincing and also know that there is a lot to the game developers. For example, I think it's a great pity that Kingspray Graffitti is not on the quest ... I think I'll put the issue of VR gaming on the nails and go out again.

make a game like Pokemon go for instance. using the outside camera used when setting up the guardian. except for a game you can walk around
make a game using the gurdian set up camera. you could walk around the neighborhood, house ,yard whatever. and Cath Pokemon, kill zombies, build. you would see everytihing while game objects would also pop up. I don't know how this isn't already a thing. Pokemon go would be great starting point

Can't use mic for Facebook casting and in game at the same time.
When trying to play games that uses the mic (VRChat, Rec Room, Sports Scramble, Drop Dead, etc..) you can't use it during facebook casting. You can either..
- Start your facebook cast and launch the app. (Breaks mic for the game.)
- Launch your game and then start casting. (Breaks the mic for the cast.)
Why can't the mic work for both?

Hello, I am a big fan of your oculus quest gear. All the games are fun and interactive but I had a thought about a game that would be really cool. What about a game about playing the “ air guitar” or other musical instrument kinda of like guitar hero without the physical need for the instruments. Help developers optimize their games!
I primarily use PCVR but I travel a lot for work so I picked up a Quest.
I find the massive amount of dropped frames on Quest to be insanely distracting. I realize AWS is computationally expensive and may never come to Quest but I think there needs to be a push for getting everything to run smoother/better optimization.
Perhaps there could be some official documentation focused on educating developers on how they can get their games to minimize missing frame rate? Maybe even a team of coders who could float around and get hands on with developers?

Fix and Improve
I think that we should be pushing companies to make their VR games for the quest. The loss of the outside sensors can make you feel free, but the system is lacking in the amount of games that is putting out is less than ideal. Games like Duck Season, FNAF VR, Budget Cuts, Rick and Morty Virtual Rickality, and even Tabletop Simulator, NEED TO BE PORTED. One Account: OAuth to give 3rd party devs access to my account
Having to sign up for an account on all these different games is really annoying, especially using the virtual keyboard and the fact that there's no password manager... both factors encouraging simple passwords.
Games should be able to use my Oculus account, and if they want a separate use store, use my Oculus account as the IDP via OAuth.

Add a USB 3 wire
I recently purchased an Oculus Quest for Christmas and instantly found a problem. Though it's meant for a stand-alone device I'd like to have the option to connect it to my computer without having to buy an extra cable. I don't have a USB 3 connector on my computer forcing me to buy one with a USB on it online.
